Ok, so I realize that all of my entries for the past couple of months have either been about my professor :) or the White Sox. Well, my admiration for my professor is starting to diminish. I still love his classes, but I'm starting to like them just because they are English classes and I LOVE literature classes, and not so much because of him. Oh well. But the White Sox....hmmmmmm, still obsessed. It's been about fifteen years now and I don't' think that it will end anytime soon. And they won Game 1 of the World Series last night!!!! I was so nervous! I had to watch the entire 8th inning with my hand over my eyes because the Astros had runners on first and third with no outs and I was so scared that they would tie and take the lead....but they didn't. And then the Sox scored again and it was all over from there. Joe Crede is my hero! "It's so Joe." That's the headline of the Chicago Tribune. I just hope they don't get cocky. They won one game. They still have three more to win. On the news last night a guy was singing, "The White Sox have got the whole world in their hands. The whole world in their hands." Can I just say how much I love when people randomly break into song? It makes me happy! I do it all the time. But usually only when I'm alone or just my roommates are around. But it's ok because then Emily reenacts it later for people. But everyone should sing! All the time! Because it will make you smile and laugh and let go....just a little! And you should cheer for the White Sox!!!! Because they are amazing, and really deserve this! And I guess Houston does too, but then again I haven't been obsessed with the Houston Astros since I was six years old....so GO SOX!!!!! "I feel it in my fingers! I feel it in my toes!!!!! White Sox fever is all around me! Everywhere I go!"
