"It’s f-f-f-fucking f-freezing." Elijah chattered out, bouncing to keep warm as Orlando fumbled with cold cold metal keys, gitterly sliding the right one home.
They shivered inside, Elijah going to turn up the heater, Orlando locking the door behind him.
"Bed?" He asked.
A blue-lipped nod.
They ran together to the bedroom, shucking off jackets, scarves, gloves, clothes, knowing that bare skin heated faster.
They snuggled up in between sheets, covered with a comforter, blanket, quilt, and throw. The trembling subsided and when Elijah touched his frozen fingers to Orlando’s intimate places, they burned.
They loved each other like that.
