i'm actually on summer holiday now.

writing over the past few days has felt a little like pulling a sword from a stone when you're not king arthur. i've been sitting at my computer all morning every morning, as well as most afternoons, but only about 1.3% of my time is spent writing. i can't really bring myself to think about any more (i check my myspace approximately 8794275875890784 times a day, even though i receive just 3 comments a month on average). i told my supervisor at our meeting today that i wanted to take an extended break, a period where i didn't expect myself to think about it, and she said it'd be a good idea! bonus! summer holiday!

charlotte was generally very enthusiastic about what i had written, and it really seems like the project is more interesting to her every time we meet. the belief that someone else is finding what i'm doing interesting is almost key to me actually doing it. i crave acceptance from my superiors and peers above all else!

here's what i plan to do in my summer break:
- go to the cinema
- watch some wrestling
- be on hell's kitchen (hooray!)
- go to edinburgh (yassss!)
- go to reading festival (hurrah!)
- read some books
- say yasssss! about six times a day.
