Today I woke up at an extreme early of 8. I scurried out of the house to get to some camp place so I could be cold and then make a "Monkey Bridge"(Which shall be illustrated for you later). I got there, and it was cold. I didn't feel like staying overnight, mostly because it was cold, partially because I wanted to come home.
We made food for lunch. Steve and I ate with the old people. Steve dropped half of the food in the fire, but he salvaged most, if not all of it. I would have dropped it too, but some kid handed Steve a spatula instead of tongs, so it was most difficult. I knew if I tried I would have messed up, and the Steve would have made fun of me, instead of the other way around.
So after we made food, we split into three groups. We named ourselves in order. My group (Team Awesome), Steve's Group (Team More Awesome) and Aziziziziziziziziziziz's group (Team Most Awesome). Me and Steve's group got to make all the lashing and wood stuff, Azizziziziziziz's got to make the bridge part. It took us forever to get it done. Everyone ended up going across a stream thing. If anyone fell in they would have been really cold, as if it wasent cold enough as it is.
Then we made dinner. The old people made stew type thing. Aziziziz gave me a hamburger. Steve and I sat right next to the fire cause we were dying of coldness. He got in his sleeping bag, and we looked like talking blobs, cause we had our appendages inside our jackets. Then we ate some more, stole some cookies, gave some to Steve, and left. I schlept most of the way back, but Mr. Lykins put a The Who CD on, so I'm mildly disapointed.
