Boredom

Well...not too much has been going on. This past weekend was pretty laid back. I cut the grass, got the oil changed in my car, took some recycling into Mt. Jackson, visited the cemetery (which, my grandmother passed away 2 years ago and her name is STILL not on the tombstone, slightly bitter about that) and went to a birthday party, which was a lot of fun.

Work so far this week has been uneventful. It's getting to the point where I might have to get in contact with my internship adviser and see if I can spread out my 140 hrs of logs throughout the summer, because some days I do jack shit and I'm pretty sure she's going to wonder why I had 5 hours to work on my logs one day and continued to work on them the next. Of course, I'm not actually working on logs all the time, instead I bitch about them on here, but still...this is a very VERY slow summer internship.

The rest of the week should be interesting. My aunt and uncle from Florida are coming into town for a few days. Sunday, we're all going down to Johnstown, PA for the annual Robertson Family Reunion. It's been a few years since I've attended the family reunion, so I'm sure I'm in for a bunch of cheek squeezing and "look how grown up you are!" and the "how is school? when are you done? what are you doing with your life?" routine. My extended family is HUGE, to the point where I don't remember half my relatives, but they all seem to know who I am...so, this should be interesting.

Well that's all for now. It already feels like it's going to be a slow day so I'll probably be posting an "Uncle Jim Forward" in a bit. Until then, have a good one.
