It's 2008, fyi, in case you didn't know, and your calendar is running slow. ly. This is the year that I will officially get old. 2008 is also the year of the rat, which is a lot cooler than it sounds. This year will also leap, or so they say.
I got back from a holiday finale in StL. last night, and laid on the couch with Amed watching TV for the balance of Jan. 1. The trip was nice, but it felt like the holidays went on forever this year. I'm glad they're over, and I can go back to my normal exciting life of daring-do and adventure. 2008 will be the year of swashbuckling.
