Ha ha, people are so stupid
I've said that a lot over the last couple decades, about how "people" are stupid. It's a funny joke to all the rest of us that Fox viewers, neocons, fundamentalists, etc. are so substandard that they would do the ridiculous things they do. The thing is that things like this aren't funny any more-
It's not "they" anymore who are stupid- it's everyone, it's "we." Me, you, everyone who does nothing to educate or involve ourselves and the people around us in the reality of the world. We will slip farther and farther into a swamp of ignorance and isolation. I don't think we even know what fight we're in anymore. It's not the fight for rights, freedoms, equality, oil, democracy, whatever- it's the fight to reclaim an objective reality. It has started to feel like I'm really through the rabbit hole with how little people inside and out of The Government care about the world.
Sometimes I just have to vent about how the last eight years have been a fucking disaster on every level. That is all.
Maybe I'll move to Canada.
