Stupid TV

Why do they feel it is necessary to interrupt my shows to tell us it is raining?  Like I couldn't open a window and see that for myself?

It's so damn annoying. and it's not like they'll wind up getting the weather report right later or anything!

actually, what's hysterical is that in MN they actually do the main weather reports OUTSIDE. No matter the weather (almost) and sometimes they STILL get it wrong

I rarely watch. Unless the weather's terrible because then they all look like they want to murder the producer for making them stand out there

lord knows that other than mocking the weathermen there is NO reason to watch.

They are all liars. It's the only job where you can be wrong 75% of the time, sometimes massively so, and NOT get sued or fired

We get that here. They're all bundled up in these huge winter coats, with snow collecting on the hoods and their noses are read and you can see their breath and they tell us it's snowing and probably will continue to snow for awhile. Thanks. I'd never have known that without their input

yet the weathermen still get paid to tell us

I think it'd be depressing to learn how much they get paid. Especially on those days where they said it would be sunny so you've planned outdoor things and it rains all day

And I love when they comment on how wrong they were the other day, "well, oops, we thought it would do this but Mother Nature did the exact opposite, who would have guessed?" Welll, we were hoping, since you had a degree and fancy computers and all, that you WEREN'T guessing!
