I was expecting Tony, maybe Tosh, but you came up with some cool ones that I don't know. I've never even heard of Strange World, but it sounds interesting. This is more of your bad luck in liking shows that get cancelled, isn't it? *pets*
I didn't even think of Tosh! *headdesk* my brain, it is broke!
Scifi channel bought Strange World so at least all the episodes made got to air ( a whopping 13 or so) but the producers knew it wasn't picked up for the second half of the season (On ABC, who only showed a handful of episodes) so they treated it more like a miniseries, so it's pretty self contained. Not that scifi channel ever shows stuff in a watchable way anymore, but if its on try to catch it.
I have *amazing* luck when it comes to picking shows that'll get canceled. I'm lucky that way.
I'll keep an eye out for it on SciFi. I keep thinking I should watch "Eureka" but I haven't really gotten into it. I watched a few eps a while back and thought, that's clever, and cute, but it didn't really grab me.
Speaking of shows that didn't last long, do you remember "Jim Henson's Storyteller"? I liked that show.
Eureka is cute. I watch it, but to some extent because my kids do. If you're home and it's on check it out. S1 was best, but it's still cute and fun. It's one of those shows that if can turn my brain off and watch- I don't get involved really, but it's engaging enough, if that makes sense
oh yes- Storyteller! A cool looking dog-like narrator, right?

Makes perfect sense!
And yeah, there was a dog. The Storyteller was human (John Hurt, I think) but he told the stories to his dog. Who talked. And was by turns skeptical and caught up in the story. Donna and I found them on DVD recently. They're pretty cool.
I remember Storyteller! Well, I don't, but I rented them on DVD when Zip (the Canadian Netflicks) recommended them. Baby Sean Bean! Muppets! Really weird fairy tales! I loved it.
I too have a penchant for shows that get canceled. It's a curse!
It was a neat show. Donna and I found them on DVD recently and had happy geeky nostalgia over them. And YES on the stuff that gets cancelled. It's just sad.
