You know no one can leave Tallahassee and stay away for ever, right? T2 Tuesday, November 15, 2005 [1:53:16 pm]and now. a song from rocky votolato

Kinda weird, how I've still been listening to that song, and it's been one of my favorites since you recommended Rocky to me... And to this day I really never thought about the lyrics a whole lot.
See, a lot of how music is with me is listening to the vocals in a way that they're another instrument. I like good lyrics, but some songs the lyrics are overshadowed just by how the voice sounds with the music, and then I realize the lyrics are awesome and very meaningful all in themselves.... And I like this song that much more.
I really don't know what to say about any of this. Not many do, I don't think. We all try so hard to try to make it better for you, because just hanging out with you puts a hold on all of the shit that we (your frequent commentors and, hell, anyone you have ever hung out with for the most part) are going through and dealing with.
The only way I can clearly explain is that you're a very special person; you have this very enviable trait of being liked by everyone at the same time. Calling you a human god could sound like an insult a little bit... You have always stuck out anywhere you go. People want to meet you and hang out. Most people who meet you will want to stand around for twenty minutes and chat with you. You just have that effect on a lot of people, and you take it all in stride and you allow these people to keep in touch with you, like me for example.
Now, upon further examination... It's not that you're a god or goddess or whatnot. But I realized that you're one of the most confident people that I know, even when you're in a crisis. You decide from there on where you're going, and even if it doesn't work out, you always have a period at the end of the sentence. There is no room at the time for changes. You have very strong beliefs and you express them frequently (not a bad thing).
I read a book once in Barnes & Noble, where the main character's friend weighed about 300 or 350 pounds, and I think he was described as not one of the best looking dudes in the world--fat or not fat. But he was the biggest ladies man. He would go to a bar and have three or for chicks hanging off of his shoulders, and he would bring someone home each night... And apparently they all said he was the best they ever had. Then he started feeling a little uneasy about himself and his future. It got to the point that during his friend's wedding he was kind of silent, just sitting off to the side of the dance floor during the reception, drinking. A woman asked the main character if he wanted to dance with her, and he asked her while they were dancing, why she didn't ask his friend. She said, "The fat guy? Are you kidding me?" And nobody else approched his friend that night or for a couple of nights before that.
The two of them decided then, that they were to drink the night away. Get totally shitfaced and complain to each other about their lives. Like it was college all over again. But there was one problem: They needed booze. So the friend walks to the bar where an attractive woman was tending... the main character thinks about some stuff, and all of a sudden his friend is back with a large bottle of whiskey. "I guess I've still got it," he said.
Just like someone who looks good wearing anything. It's the way they carry themselves while wearing what they're wearing. People like that--and you're one of them to me--amaze me.
I bought 23,000 shares of a stock for under a penny the other day with Lindsey. Right now we've profited about $75, and I know that when this stock takes off (at $1 per share we would make just under $23,000). Think about investing in this stock. We bought 23,000 shares for $228. If you want to talk about it a little bit, I'm online often. I'll broach the subject with you when you're online next. This company hasn't started to advertise yet. Basically... If their stock starts going up and up and up... Well, you may not be in such a predicament anymore.

Ask me about it if you want. Just a thought.
Talk to you later. Keep the faith.
