[The first thing he feels when he wakes up is weak. Weak and completely alone. Inuyasha opens his eyes and only has to blink once before he shoots up straight in his bed. He looks around, noticing instantly that his surroundings are completely new to him.]

[Yanks the door open, still pissed off. He almost looks ready to attack, certain that some sort of demon or dark priestess. has come knocking.]

[Stumbles back, falling over and landing on her butt as she scrambles backward in surprise.]

Um... my name's Dawn. A friend of mine used to live here, but I guess he must have gone back home...

Uh... this town's called Mayfield. Somehow, people get dragged from their worlds into this town and forced to live in families with other people who had the same thing happen to them.

[Is looking past her around the street, as though expecting to see demons pop out at any second.]

"...A demon? You really think so?"

Either that or some sort of dark priestess. Those are the only two things powerful enough to do something like this...

[He looks at her suspiciously.]

What about a legendary Pokemon? Dialga and Palkia are definitely powerful enough to pull something like this off, or maybe even Arceus!

[Stares at her as though she's grown a second head.]

[Dawn sighs a little, unfastening a Pokeball from her belt.]

"I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. Nobody seems to know about them in this town. Here, I'll show you. C'mon out, Pachirisu!"

[She tosses the ball lightly into the air. It opens, shooting out a flash of white light which coalesces into the form of a small blue and white squirrel.]

"This is a Pokemon!"

[Glares at him, growling. Well, growling as much as a human can.]
