and so, i just learnt that my bro is in the hospital in a faraway land called england and i cannot do anything about it.ok before you panic,he's not my real bro but read on and u'll understand..
so his friends have set up this page in fb to update his condition,which really isnt looking too gd..as well as a page for pple to post their memories about him so they can read it to him in hope it will trigger something and wake him up..so here's my part..i decided to copy it here for memory's sake..
in the meantime, please pray for him..
qx was a brother i never had since we were 6 or 7 years old..its unbelievable but we've known eachother for about 15 years now? together with a group of friends,we named ourselves the parkers and at 6pm every evening, we'll promptly rush to the playground to meet and play together..its amazing how we still are friends till now..
do you remember gor...when we were little, we made silly little promise that you would be my only "gor" and that i would be ur only "little sis"? i've kinda secretly kept that promise till now *sheepish grin* do you remember how when i finally got my handphone when i was 13..and we would msg all the time? remember how randomly i would tell you "hey why are you still awake!! go to sleep!" at the wee hours in the night and you would ask me how i knew you were still awake? then we realised if we squinted really hard past the trees in front of my house and in the park, we could see eachother's lighted windows?
remember the times i would msg you on my birthday telling you im the same age as you for just one day cos ur birthday is one day after mine? XD and you would always smirk about it but allowed me to gloat about it till ur birthday arrived XD remember how after that,we would always celebrate our birthdays together as a clique and go out for dinners and stuff~
remember once you told me, getting a flip phone is cool! and i asked why? and you said cos if you were in the mrt and there was some chiobu around, it'll be damn cool to flip it open and then approach her for her number?haha then we would all laugh at you XD and there were those times when there would be some random girls in the park n you would really wanna go up to ask for their numbers, of which you really did to some~
remember how we used to play blind man,and once you thought it was a brilliant idea to climb on the underside of the playground structure roof? you ended up dropping down on poor jo~ and everyone catwhistled XD well..cos it was jo *winks*
remember when it rained and the park would be filled with rainwater and form big puddles in the sand? just to get a to eat a "warhead", you n alex did push ups in the muddy water, getting ur white shirts dirty just so you could have one sweet? and then there were those time we would all climb on those little trees and pretended it was our tree house..only to stop after too many of us sat on one and uprooted it haha ..
then there were those times we laughed at all the funny things that happened especially about song yee's little brother running off the playground structure and ended up lying face flat on the ground..or how jonathan discovered that the panel of the lampost was open and decided to pull the wire inside..resulting in the whole park to blackout..then we all ran home immediately,laughing, incase we got caught for causing all the lamps to go out~
here's a trivia for you guys out there: have you ever asked qx to touch his shoulders? or flip his hands to show you his palms? ask him to do it when he wakes up! ;)
even though when we grew up, we talked less..but thanks for being there when i needed you..that time i was really unhappy at the SA orientation for the second intake..even though you were so busy, you agreed to walk me out when i wanted to leave desperately..thank you for the time when i had a bad break and you offered and called him up for me as my gor to demand an explanation of what he said to me....thank you for being this bro i've always wanted and nv had..
remember the times you would go jogging at night, and stop outside my house trying to get my attention in any possible way except pressing the doorbell so you wont disturb my parents..and the times you almost failed cos you called my name sooooooo softly i thought i was hallucinating XD and the time you made funny noises to attract my attention but i was so engrossed in the computer oops..all because you didnt want to bring ur phone out whilst jogging..and when i came out to talk, you would always ask if there were new guys in my life~ haha..
then there was the time we drove to joel's house and you spotted a girl in the distance, jogging, and you sped up so you could get a glimpse of her..turned out to be joel's friend so we stopped to say hi..but then you got disappointed cos she turned into a different road from ours XD and we were all so embarassed XD
gor..remember who "trained" you to do pull-ups? ;) you better wake up soon, get fit again and show me what you got okay! =) get back in time so we can celebrate our birthdays together this year with the rest of the guys..get back here so i can cross the road to ur house to visit you..
dont give up fighting cos i believe in you..you have always been someone i looked up to and you're so damn important in my life..and in the clique's lives as well..we're all down here helpless, not able to visit you but you're ALWAYS on our minds..and we're there with you in spirit..FIGHT PLEASE..cos u'll definitely make it through..i believe in you.
