wow, uni life is boss so far. i'm living with my bezzie emzo wegeton and my boyfriend, and a boy called chris whos on my course whos pretty funny and nice. we all get on so well, i love it!
moving in was a disaster; the shower tray was black and full of mould and dirt, and the floor was horrendously dirty. but now its clean and useable! my room is nice, see:
although its a shit tip at the moment.
back home for the weekend because ive came home to see my grandad whos really ill with cancer. he hasnt got long left to be honest, its devastating. so im making the most of seeing him before i go back tomorrow.
my course is good, weve just had a week full of talks and "getting to know eachother"
we had a talk on friday how to sit at a computer correctly :| and also about how to use macs.
theres a few knobs, theres a 26 year old blatent emo guy who loves himself loads. but ive just found out hes pretty loaded and is househunting in new york wtf? he photographs shitloads of bands all the time so, with his experience, why even start a photography course. it baffles me.
we got the worst project though "camera-less". we cant use a camera. instead we have to do photograms (like man ray) and photocopiers etc. im sticking to my scanner x]
i neeeed a laptop. but with all this going on with my grandad my dad doesnt have time to sort one.
loving font cocktails (mmm bounty), curry pot noodles, milky way crispy rolls (me and emzo = addicted), tropical VS, and drinking sessions in eds room with emzo, chris ed and moff.
all in all, a good week! :) x
