please tell me that someone knows something about ipods and technology, 'cause i sure as hell don't
My iPod is dying. Like, it works fine. It is a perfectly-functioning thing.
BUT iTunes doesn't register that it's plugged in. Like, the computer does, but not iTunes. And the one thing that apple.com keeps telling me to do is to delete and re-download iTunes. So, natch, I need to copy the folder that has all my music on it, so that I don't lose it.
HOWEVER, I don't have enough space on my computer to copy the folder, which is crazy because I NEED MY MUSIC FOR SURVIVAL.
I'm just going to have to go home and burn all my music on cds, and then delete and re-download. I may try renaming the folder and trick iTunes, like "oh, this is not the folder you're looking for" and Jedi mind trick them or something.
Either way, it's frustrating, and it hurts my soul to not have an iPod for so long.
