It doesn't feel like I'm out of school. I woke up yesterday and today to my alarm and I got all mad because I didn't want to get out of bed and go to school. Then I realized I didn't have to. So I went back to sleep.
This morning, I had an odd dream. I was in this place in germany in WWII at some sort of a reception and Mish was there. So we were hanging out. Then this "silent alarm" went off. In other words, everyone was wandering around wispering that soldiers had infiltrated the reception. At first the soldiers just wandered around and tried to blend in. Out of no where they started shoting at all of us, except they weren't using normal guns. They looked sorta like a cross between a machine gun and a hunting rifle but they didn't shoot bullets out of the nozzle thingy, they shot what looked like bursts of bright white light. So they would be wandering around and the take out their guns and try to shoot a couple people and then put them away as if nothing had happened and just wander around again. This happened over and over again until they stopped putting their guns away. A few people were lying dead on the ground.
They lined the remaining attendees up against the wall. Mish was next to me. We just stood there frighten out of our wits. The soldiers stood in front and fired at us. I saw the bright white light out of the ends of their guns and closed my eyes. I felt what seemed to be an electric shock. Then I hoped my eyes. Before my brain went back to the scene, I saw what seemed to be a power point of everyone's names. We were all alive. Then I saw the soliders.
They fired and again no one was killed. The powerpoint came up before I openned my eyes, just like last time. And just like last time I saw that no one died. I looked at the solders, they looked over towards us, and I averted my eyes.
Mish pulled out her cell phone to text someone. The soliders began whispering about how we must all have cell phones or other small metal objects in our pockets. Mish held hers out in front of her as a shield. I took out mine and and idea came upon me. "If we take a picture of them while they're shooting, it will bounce back to them and kill them instead of us." Somehow we knew it would work, because that's just how dreams are. I held mine out ready to take a picture, but then quickly put it away. I thought they'd take them away and then we'd all be dead.
They upped the voltage. I felt the shock running through my body. I closed my eyes and when I opened them the powerpoint was back for a third time. This time, a few names had the date and time of the their death beside them.
The soldiers cursed that we hadn't all died yet. They fired for a final time. This time the shock was more intense than ever before. I openned my eyes to see the power point. The only people left with nothing beside their name were me, Mish, and a couple others. The soldiers were still standing there and I woke up.
Despite nearly being killed through the whole dream, something about it was strange. It was something that I didn't realized until I woke up. I could see the soldiers' faces. In dreams I usually see places and bodies but never faces unless I know the person, and even then I often don't. The soldiers' faces weren't those of people I knew, they were those that I created in my mind and I've never done that before.
