If the puppet-wave reached the room nearest the top of the stairs, Whistler hasn't noticed. He's busy playing tug-of-knotted-rope with the puppy, since he's not going to take apart the new cell phone and re-cap the number keys with Braille until Suzi gets back. Taking things apart is a joint endeavor.

"Um. It looks like they're going to play." She says with a measured tone, following it by, "I'm sorta drunk. There are lots of puppets downstairs."

"No, I just want to cuddle." she's not that drunk. She just had enough to deal with the whole Ryan thing, "And I didn't try to get one of the chocolate and ice cream and alcohol drinks. I thought about it."
