Previous Chapter

“So, want to know one thing I learned from today?” Jensen asks as they walk into his apartment after a long ride home.

Jared hangs his jacket up with Jensen’s before he heads for the couch. With a dramatic moan, he falls backwards onto the cushions and throws an arm over his eyes. “Not really,” he says.

Of course it had been a rhetorical question, so Jensen plops down next to Jared and pulls the boy’s arm from his face. He leans into Jared’s body and presses their lips together before leaning back just a bit to stare down at Jared.

“You’re obviously a ladies’ man,” he says with a teasing smile.

Jared pushes playfully at his shoulders, but Jensen only presses his body closer until Jared is practically hanging over the arm rest. He can see the arousal in Jared’s eyes, and he’s definitely not missing the stir of excitement in Jared’s pants, but it’s the hot breath that blows across Jensen’s neck that sends him over the edge.

Only problem is, as soon as he’s about to go in for another kiss and his hands starts moving down the toned body beneath his, Jared puts a hand up between them. He’s got a stupid smile on his face that Jensen really wants to dislike, but can’t seem to feel anything other than attraction. When Jared’s hand slides up to his chest, brushes over his jaw and through the soft hairs at the back of his neck, Jensen shivers helplessly.

“You don’t look much like a lady, Jen,” Jared mocks.

“Does that disappoint you?” Jensen asks as his hand starts moving towards Jared’s waist again.

Now Jared’s shivering beneath him, and Jensen’s motivated by the soft moans coming from Jared as he continues his slow movement. He unbuttons Jared’s pants and works his hand between the clothing, slipping his fingers under the elastic of Jared’s briefs. The moment his finger tips graze the sensitive flesh Jared’s hips are bucking into Jensen’s, and Jared’s head falls back over the arm rest with his eyes closed and mouth slightly parted.

It’s quite possibly the most beautiful thing Jensen’s ever seen.

“Jen,” Jared pants, “please.”

“What?” He questions, even though he has no trouble figuring it out on his own. “What is it you want me to do?”

“Come on, Jen!” Jared warns, his hips still moving beneath Jensen’s exploring hand. “You’re driving me crazy here!”

“I can’t help if I don’t know what you want.” He pulls his hand away only to lift his shirt over his head and toss it to the floor.

“Ugh!” Jared finally shouts as Jensen’s hand returns only to run up Jared’s chest, tugging his t-shirt off as well. Once the shirt’s gone, Jared manages to work his way out of his pants and briefs, purposely letting his knuckles push against the crotch of Jensen’s jeans. “I want your hand around my dick, now!”

Jensen’s hands go still, and he stares down at Jared in surprise.

“Did you hear me?” Jared questions.

“Oh I heard you alright.” Jensen confirms with a smile as his hand continues its exploration, with much more freedom now. “I’m just shocked. Didn’t really take you for a bossy bottom.”

“Excuse me?” Jared’s eyes fly open and he grabs Jensen’s hand to stop its movement.

“It’s a good thing,” Jensen defends, but the damage is done.

Jared pushes at Jensen’s shoulders until he can shift his body enough to force Jensen around onto his back. The next thing Jensen knows, Jared’s pulling off his jeans and briefs before the younger boy straddles Jensen’s hips, wrapping his long fingers around Jensen’s dick.

“I’m bossy from the top too,” Jared jokes as his fist starts pumping and his thumb slides over Jensen’s slit. “Now, get your hand on my dick or you might not enjoy this as much as you are right now.”

“Yes, sir!” Jensen’s hand wraps around Jared’s dick, both of them thrusting into each other’s fist with a rhythm that seems to have developed naturally.

It doesn’t take long before Jensen’s shooting come all over his stomach and Jared’s only seconds behind them. Jared collapses on top of Jensen, and despite the mess drying between they’re heated bodies, they’re both quite content to just lie there together.

Except there are voices coming from the hallway, followed by the sound of keys jingling and the lock clicking, and Jensen barely has time to think about the blanket draped over the back of the sofa. Just as the door swings open, Jensen has his UT throw wrapped around their naked bodies, but can do very little about the rest of the evidence.

“Holy shit!” Chris exclaims as he enters the living room, reaching down to pick up Jared’s discarded shirt. “Please tell me you two didn’t just have sex on our couch?”

“Okay,” Jensen agrees. “We didn’t just have sex on my couch.”

“You reek of it,” Chris complains, tossing the shirt at the two of them. “I hope I interrupted.”

Jared moans in embarrassment this time and drops his head to Jensen’s shoulder, pulling the blanket up just enough to hide his face. All Jensen can do is laugh as Chris finally walks out of the room and Sophia walks by hurriedly, offering him two thumbs up before she disappears into the kitchen. When both of his roommates have gone, Jensen decides it’s probably a good time to find something less intimate to do or at least move this somewhere that’s more private.

Except Jensen can’t reach either of their pants without getting off the couch, and the blanket definitely isn’t going to cover the two of them if they stand up, which means he only has one choice.

“Hey, Sophia?” he calls into the kitchen, and rubs calming circles at Jared’s back as if to prepare him for what’s to come.

“Yeah?” She asks from the doorway, hand covering her eyes.

“I kind of need some help,” he says softly, smiling awkwardly at her when she finally removes her hand. “I can’t reach my pants.”

“Oh… oh!” Sophia quickly runs over and grabs Jensen’s pants from the floor. “Here ya go.”

He thanks her with a smile and a nod before she darts off back into the kitchen, and Jensen carefully maneuvers himself so he can pull his pants back on. Jared finally lifts his head from Jensen’s shoulder and stares at Jensen with a bright red face.

“Are they gone?” He asks, and Jensen nods. “I can’t believe we did that.”

“I’m pretty sure that was the best hand job I’ve ever had,” Jensen admits, “but I could definitely use a shower now.”

“Me too!” Jared agrees as he pulls the cover around his waist and waits for Jensen to grab his pants from the floor. Once Jared’s dressed again, Jensen takes the cover and folds it back over the sofa. “Is there enough room for two in your shower?”

“Oh my,” Jensen teases, “now you want to shower with me too? You’re just full of surprises.”

“You have no idea.” Jared winks as he stands up from the couch and allows Jensen to take his hand and lead him toward the stairs.

Just as they reach the landing, Chris calls out from the kitchen and they both find themselves nearly tripping up the stairs as they try to control their laughter.

“Take that blanket with you!” Chris says. “If it’s been over your naked and come crusted bodies I don’t want to touch it!”

“So,” Jared asks when they are finally lying down in Jensen’s bed, “what’s your dating history look like?”

“Nothing interesting,” Jensen answers quickly.

Jared sighs, “It’s only fair I know about yours since you know mine.”

“I didn’t ask.” He argues softly.

“Oh well…” Jared smiles and turns to stare at him intently. “Have you always known you were gay?”

“No,” he admits. “I’m bisexual. I have been since high school, when I dated a girl junior year and a boy senior year. Then I just kind of alternated throughout college.”

“So you really aren’t the dating type, are you?”

“No,” Jensen answers honestly, but then he wraps his arm around Jared and pulls him closer to say, “but sometimes I make an exception.” Before Jared can say anything Jensen decides to turn this into quiz time. “So you’re not the sweet virgin everyone thinks you are, huh?”

Jared’s eyes go wide and he turns to Jensen in shock. “Excuse me?”

“Either you’ve seen way too much porn or you’re more experienced than I assumed,” Jensen explains. “It’s not a bad thing either way, but what we did downstairs, I got the impression you’ve done it before.”

“Maybe I have,” Jared says softly, his cheeks going red again, “but that doesn’t mean I’m not a virgin.”

“Well are you?”

“I’m not sure it’s any of your business,” he responds defensively.

“Whoa,” Jensen says as he removes his arm from around Jared and holds his hands up in front of him, “You’re the one that started this conversation. If you don’t want to answer, that’s fine, but I’m not sure why it’s such a big deal.”

Jared sighs and leans back against the head board, arms folded across his chest. “I’ve never told anyone because my parents would go ballistic if it got back to them.”

“Well, I’m pretty sure they’re not too happy with you now anyways,” Jensen teases. When Jared doesn’t look at him, Jensen continues to speak but his tone becomes softer. “I mean, they obviously care about you Jared. Despite their poor way of showing it, I could tell they love you. If they haven’t disowned you by now, I’m pretty sure you’re stuck with them the rest of your life.”

Even though Jared’s pretty annoyed with Jensen’s attitude, those words really resonate, and for the first time in years Jared’s actually seeing his parents in a whole different light. They could have shipped Jared off to some center run by religious nuts, who would have tried to change who or what he is, and Jared’s really thankful they didn’t. As hurtful as some of their words and looks can be, they never stopped being his parents.

“You can be really insightful,” Jared compliments. “I guess you kind of have a point, but telling my parents I’m not a virgin may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.”

“Ah ha!” Jensen pumps his fist in the air and smiles. “So you’re not a virgin.”

Jared blushes but says, “Why don’t you scream it a bit louder so everyone can hear you.”

“Okay.” He takes a deep breath and opens his mouth to shout, “Jared isn’t a-oomph!”

“Seriously?” Jared throws a hand over Jensen’s mouth and rolls his eyes. “You’re like a child.”

To prove Jared’s point even more, Jensen sticks his tongue out and licks the palm of Jared’s hand. Jared pulls it away quickly and wipes it over Jensen’s arm with a look of disgust, but Jensen just sits their smiling.

“So who was it?” Jensen asks.

“No one you would know,” Jared says. Jensen stares at him for a few unnerving seconds before Jared finally adds, “It was my brother’s roommate when he was an undergrad, okay!”

“You slept with your brother’s roommate?” Jensen’s eyes are wide and his mouth is hanging open, but Jared can see that he’s smiling. “That’s just wrong. Does your brother know?”

“No, thank God.” Jared says. “He would have murdered the guy.”

“Yeah,” Jensen agrees. “I wouldn’t blame him. How old were you?”

“That’s your last question.” Jared waits for Jensen to nod before he says, “I was sixteen.”

“Holy shit, Jared, he could have gone to jail!” Jensen says.

“Yeah, I know.” He wraps his arms around himself again and lowers his head. “I guess you think I’m a slut.”

“No, never, but I do question your brother’s roommate,” Jensen says. “He didn’t… you know…”

Jared looks up at him and can see the concern in his eyes. It’s probably not appropriate for Jared to be smiling like a fool, but he can’t help it. This definitely isn’t the reaction he was expecting.

“No, it wasn’t like that.” Jared smiles even more when Jensen lets out a relieved sigh and wraps his arm back around Jared’s shoulders. “I went to visit, and Jeff took me to some party. We had both been drinking, and when we woke up the next morning he was scared to death of what Jeff was going to do. It was kind of funny.”

“How did your brother not find out?” Jensen asks.

“He spent the night with some girl, so he wasn’t home. I think he had some suspicions though because he never left me alone with his roommate when I visited after that.” Jared shakes his head with a fond smile as he thinks about his brother. “Now it’s my turn to ask questions.”

“Okay, shoot.” Jensen says.

“Did you and Chris ever date?”

Instead of answering, Jensen throws his head back and breaks out in a fit of hysterical laughter, which just confuses the hell out of Jared. He didn’t think it was a funny question, and he definitely deserved an answer after the interrogation he just received from Jensen.

“I’m sorry,” Jensen apologizes after he catches his breath. “Chris is like my brother. We’ve been friends since middle school, and he’s completely straight.”

“Oh, my bad.” Jared pulls his bottom lip in as he smiles slightly. “It just seemed like he had a thing for you.”

“He would die if he heard you say that,” Jensen says. “I have to tell him though.”

“No!” Jared shouts. “Please don’t tell him. He already scares me, a lot.”

“Chris can come off as an ass, but he’s a real nice guy.” Jensen runs his hand up and down Jared’s arm. “He’s protective of his own, but that’s because he cares too much. Don’t tell him I said that though.”

“Guess I have blackmail now then,” Jared says with a teasing smile and Jensen curses. “When was your last relationship?”

“Uh, what do you constitute as a relationship?” Jensen runs a hand through his hair then rubs at the back of his neck, and all Jared can hear are Chad’s words running through his mind. When he doesn’t answer right away, Jensen continues anyway. “The last person I was with for more than a week was Steve, but that was at least a year ago.”

It doesn’t really answer Jared’s question, but he chooses not to pry any further. Part of him doesn’t want to know, because he doesn’t want to think about what he is to Jensen. It doesn’t make sense that Jensen would go through all this trouble just to get Jared to sleep with him, but then Jensen just admitted that he’s not big on relationships. So what does that make Jared?

He doesn’t want to think about it, but he is.

“So, are you still interested in that shower?” Jensen asks.

“It’s been a long day, and I’m really tired.” Jared pulls away from Jensen and reaches for his shoes on the floor. “I think I’m just going to head back to my dorm.”

“Okay,” Jensen says. “I can drive you back.”

“No, it’s okay.” Jared leans across the bed to kiss Jensen, but he pulls away when Jensen tries to deepen it. “Thank you, Jen, for coming with me and everything else. I’ll see you later.”

Jensen nods, but his disappointment is written all over his face. “Text me when you get there.”

“I will,” Jared says before he heads out the door and down the steps. He quickly grabs his coat and then bolts out of the house, practically running all the way back to his dorm.

Damn Chad and his stupid conspiracy theories.

They have managed to avoid talking about what happened the other night, and Jared’s not sure which one of them is trying harder. He’s talked to Jensen every day since, but they haven’t spent much time together besides meeting up after class when their breaks overlap. So after a week, Jared feels like he’s going crazy, and the need to see Jensen is kind of frightening.

He grabs his phone for the billionth time to check if he got a text, which is ridiculous considering he hasn’t heard it go off all day. Instead of throwing the phone back down this time, he decides to stop waiting and finally sends Jensen a text.

Whatcha doing tonight?

A minute later his phone goes off.

I’d like to be doing you.

Very funny. He sends back.

I’m hilarious. Jensen responds.

Do ya want to go out? Jared hits send and bites his nails as he waits for a response.

Well Chris and Steve have a show tonight.

All Jared sends back is, Oh.

You can come if you want.

Maybe Jared should be happy that Jensen invited him, but it feels sort of like a pity invite, and Jared’s not okay with that. It probably doesn’t help that he’s spent way too much time with Chad this week since he hasn’t been going out with Jensen. He’s pretty sure Chad’s managed to brainwash him a bit.

Where is it? He sends back.

The Spider House @ 8pm. Want me to pick you up?

I’ll meet you there. Cya.

Jared’s hands are shaking as he squeezes the phone into his fist. This is definitely the result of too much exposure to Chad.

Okay… cya

After a few minutes of staring at his phone, he finally tosses it onto the desk and falls back against his pillows. He knows exactly what Chad’s going to say when Jared tells him the story, and honestly, Jared’s not going to disagree this time. If Jensen wants to go watch his ex get all sweaty on stage, then Jared’s definitely going to be there, and you better believe he’s going to make Jensen forget all about Steve.

To say Jensen is confused by Jared’s weird behavior is quite an understatement. He has absolutely no idea what happened, but it was obvious something was bothering Jared when he texted Jensen earlier. Jensen even tried to call Jared after that, but Jared didn’t answer.

So when Jared walks into the bar looking ridiculously hot, it takes every ounce of Jensen’s willpower to not get up and show everyone here that Jared is with him. Especially because Jared really isn’t here with him, Jared’s here with Chad, and Jensen doesn’t have a good feeling about that.

He doesn’t think Jared’s spotted him, so he slouches down in the booth before Jared turns his way. It’s the perfect spot to watch as Chad pushes Jared to the bar and pulls out his fake ID that probably looks nothing like Chad, but no one at UT ever seems to care.

“What the hell are you doing?”

“People watching,” Jensen says as Steve sits down beside him.

“Which one is Jared?” Steve asks. Jensen turns to him and raises and eyebrow, but Steve shrugs and takes a sip of his beer. “Chris told me you were dating some fish.”

“Not dating.” He keeps his voice low as his eyes drift back to the crowd. “Chris is worse than a chick.”

“The man loves his gossip, Jen.” Steve nudges Jensen’s arm but Jensen doesn’t look at him. “So, which one is the fish you’re not dating?”

“The tall one,” he says and it’s a decent description because Jared pretty much stands out due to his height.

“Chad’s friend?”

“You mean blond douche bag guy?” Jensen’s being harsh, but he doesn’t feel bad, not while he’s watching Chad order the two of them a third shot. “Yeah, his friend.”

Chris joins them at the table and takes one look behind him, then turns back to Jensen and says, “If you don’t go over there and get your boyfriend, I will.”

“He’s not my boyfriend!”

“Yeah, okay.” They both say with an extremely annoying eye roll.

When Jensen doesn’t respond, Steve stands up from the table and disappears into the crowd. Jensen searches frantically, about to get out of his seat and go after his friend when Chris darts around the table to block him. Then he spots Steve approaching Jared and Chad with his hand out to greet Chad and a rather flirtatious smile for Jared.

Jensen clenches his fists on top of the table and he hears Chris laugh from beside him. When he turns to glare at his other friend, Chris just shakes his head and pats Jensen on the shoulder.

“Just watch,” Chris whispers.

It’s not like he has much of a choice with Chris blocking him in, so Jensen leans back and watches. Jared’s already unsteady on his feet, which Jensen finds hilarious considering he’s only been here for about ten minutes. Without being able to hear what is being said, Jensen comes to his own assumptions, but one thing he knows for sure is that Jared must be a handsy drunk.

At first it looks like Jared is using Steve for support, but now Jensen can see the gentle caress up and down Steve’s arm. When Jared’s other hand moves to Steve’s defined chest, Jensen even feels Chris get tense.

“Not sure I like your boyfriend when he’s drunk,” Chris says.

“Me either.” Jensen’s leg starts bouncing under the table, and Chris is about two seconds from being pushed to the floor so he can break this shit up.

“What the hell did you do to piss the kid off so soon?”

“Fuck you!” Jensen shouts, but then he really starts to think because this seems so unlike the Jared he’s been seeing these past weeks.

Chad’s ordering more shots even though the bartender is watching him closely when the stumbling underage student walks away from the counter. He hands a shot to Jared and a shot to Steve before the three of them clink glasses and down the shots. Jensen’s face betrays him with a smile as Jared fights to keep the shot down this time.

The smile doesn’t last long because seconds later Jared is hanging all over Steve, and Jensen shoves at Chris until his friend finally lets him out of the booth. Chris follows Jensen as they head towards the crowd and Steve meets them about halfway.

When Jared spots Jensen standing there his eyes go huge and Jensen really hopes it’s the shots making Jared’s eyes water because he can’t handle tears right now. Steve holds Jared up a bit straighter, and the younger boy manages to stand on his own for a few seconds before Chad comes stomping over to them.

“Well fuck,” Chad slurs. “You’re friends with this asswipe, Steve?”

“You two have such lovely nicknames for each other.” Steve says.

“Yeah, whatever,” Chad slurs again, pointing a finger in Jensen’s face. “Just make sure you bring him back ‘cause I don’t trust you.”

He’s lucky Jensen didn’t break the damn finger because it was a really close call. Jensen’s not even sure anything Chad said made sense, but the younger boys claps Jared on the shoulder and then disappears back into the crowd. Jared just stays quiet the whole time.

“Jen,” Steve says. “You should probably take him home now.”

“You guys still haven’t played your set.” Jensen complains, but really it’s hard not to run out the door with Jared.

“Oh for fucks sake, Jensen!” Steve shoves Jared at Jensen and instinctively Jensen reaches out for him. “He’s crazy about you and you’re crazy about him. Go back home and have sex now, thanks.”

“Not a challengsh an’more,” Jared says.

“A challenge?” Chris asks, looking to Jensen for clarification.

“Not a virgshin an’more.” Jared’s chin drops to his chest and his hair falls into his eyes. “Doesn’t want me now.”

“Wow, over share,” Chris says. “That explains why he’s trying to make you jealous.”

Jensen gives Chris an extremely heated glare. “What the hell are you talking about, Jared?” Then it all starts to make sense to him. “Oh, shit.”

“What?” Chris and Steve ask at the same time.

“I’ll explain later, but Steve’s right, I’m going to take Jared home.”

“Home being your place?” Steve asks, and Jensen shakes his head as he starts to guide Jared out the door. “You two should be together tonight.”

“Why?” Jensen stops and stares at his friend, one of Jared’s arms around his neck.

“You know what he was talking about the whole time he was hanging on me?” Steve asks.

He shakes his head with a clenched fist hanging at his side. “No, what?”

Steve smiles at him and says, “You.”

It is pretty impossible for Jensen not to smile, but if his hold on Jared tightens it’s only to provide Jared with added support. Jared’s practically sleeping on his feet, but he still has a slight grin showing off those dimples that melt even more of Jensen’s heart.

“Damn it, Jensen,” Chris says as he shoves gently at Jensen and Jared. “Go take care of your drunk boyfriend.”

“They’re not dating, Chris.” Steve says with his arms folded across his chest and smirk on his face.

“You don’ wanna date me,” Jared says surprisingly loud, which kind of hurts Jensen’s ears. “You don’ do relashonships.”

Jensen shakes his head and mouths fuck you two at Steve and Chris, but both of them have huge ass smiles on their faces like the girls that they are. He shifts Jared a bit and whispers, “Sometimes I make exceptions though.” Then he’s walking out the door with an arm full of drunk boyfriend.

By the time the cab finally drops them off at Jensen’s place Jared’s half asleep. Jensen manages to pay the driver, drag Jared out of the cab, and practically carry the younger boy into the house. He stops in the entry way and stares at the couch for a moment before deciding to go through the trouble of getting Jared up the stairs and into Jensen’s bedroom.

As Jensen’s helping Jared get into bed, Jared’s trying his hardest to get Jensen into bed with him, but that’s just not going to happen tonight.

“Come on, Jen,” Jared says and Jensen assumes he’s trying to sound sexy, but he really sounds like a whining child. “Don’ you wanna fuck me?”

Jensen steps back, pulling Jared’s arms from around his neck, and just stares down at Jared with wide eyes and a grin. Jared’s hands continue to grab at Jensen, tugging on his shirt and trying to pull him closer, but Jensen braces himself against the bed.

“Jay,” he whispers.

“‘m not good-n-uff am I?” Jared takes his hands away from Jensen as if they had been burnt, and his shiny eyes drift down to his lap.

“I want to be with you, Jay,” Jensen says as he pulls the covers over Jared’s long legs and then sits down beside him. “I just don’t want it to be like this.”

“Chad thinks you jus’ wanted me ‘cause you thought I was a virgin,” Jared says. “He said you wouldn’t want a relationship.”

“Chad said this?” Jensen clenches his fists, but doesn’t raise his voice. “He doesn’t know me and he certainly doesn’t know what I do or do not want. He’s an asshole.”

“Says the same ‘bout you.”

“At least that’s one thing we agree on then.” Jensen reaches for Jared’s hand and squeezes it. “We’ll talk more in the morning, okay?”

“Sleep with me?” Jared asks.

Jensen throws is head back and laughs so hard he has to actually catch his breath before he can say anything more. It’s even harder to control his self when Jared cocks his head to the side, staring at Jensen with those large puppy dog eyes.

“I’m going to take a rain check on that, but thank you.” He says finally. “Good night, Jay. I’ll be downstairs if you need me.”

He reaches up to hold Jared’s face in his hands as he leans in and places a kiss to Jared’s forehead. When he pulls back, Jared’s eyes sluggishly blink open, but he smiles at Jensen.

It takes two seconds for Jensen to reach the door, but when he turns around toward Jared he can tell the boy is already asleep. He smiles and quietly closes the door before heading back downstairs to make himself comfortable on the couch.

Instead of watching TV and waiting for his friends to get home, Jensen finds himself thinking about the damn kid that came into his life and messed up his little world. He’s been perfectly content being a love ‘em leave ‘em kind of guy, but then Jared comes along and has him being all domestic. Jensen’s sleeping on the couch for fucks sake. How the hell did this happen?

“Think we should check to make sure he’s alive?”

“I heard him snoring so he’s definitely alive. Maybe we should see if he’s running a fever?”

“Will you two shut the hell up,” Jensen mumbles into the armrest, rubbing at his stiff neck. “There’s got to be more excited things for the two of you to do than watch me sleep.”

“Don’t flatter yourself.” Sophia plops down on top of his legs. “We were just trying to figure out why you were sleeping on the couch when there is an adorable freshman sleeping in your bed.”

His eyes go wide and he flings a hand over his face in hopes of falling back to sleep and finding out this is all a dream. Of course when he pulls his hand away Sophia and Chris are still staring at him with annoying smiles on their faces, which only makes him even more uncomfortable. He pulls his legs out from under Sophia, purposely pushing her with his feet once they’re free.

“Shit,” he whispers as he sits up straight and drops his head into his hands.

“Have a bit too much fun last night, Jenny?” Chris asks.

Jensen glares at him, but it quickly softens. “I didn’t do anything,” he says. It sounds awfully defensive even to him.

“So you’re telling me that there’s a guy in your bed and you didn’t sleep with him?” Sophia asks as she stares directly into Jensen’s eyes.

He knows exactly what she’s looking for, which pisses him off except he knows she has every reason to.

“I didn’t sleep with him, Soph.” He grabs his head again and pushes the heels of his palms into his temple. “I wanted to, but I didn’t.”

The other two remain quiet for an extremely uncomfortable moment, and when Jensen looks at them again all he can see are those fucking smiles of theirs. He moans rather dramatically and bends over till his head falls onto the coffee table, which does nothing to drown out his friends.

“Jensen’s in love!” The two sing in unison as Jensen bangs his head a few more times. Chris breaks off into a fit of uncontrollable laughter as Sophia continues. “You want to hug him and you want to kiss him.”

He falls back onto the couch and covers his face with his arm as his friends continue to find humor in his situation. It’s really not funny because Jensen feels as though his world has shifted completely and everything is suddenly off balance in his life. He’s confused, and to be honest he’s quite terrified.

It’s unlike anything he’s ever felt before, but it can’t be love. Jensen doesn’t do love. He doesn’t get the tingly butterflies in his stomach or the cheesy smiles that display gag worthy amounts of emotion.

No one has ever made him feel that way…

Except Jared.

He takes a deep breath before jumping up from the couch. “I have to go,” he shouts as he darts up the stairs.

Sophia and Chad offer obnoxious cat calls in response and this time he actually allows himself to smile.

Jensen stops at his door and the smile falls as his hands grow clammy. That annoying tingly feeling he was talking about suddenly sets in and Jensen closes his eyes in an attempt to force it away, but it goes nowhere.

He pushes the door open slowly and is surprised to see Jared sitting up in the bed, staring directly at him. If Jensen wasn’t already sure Jared was to blame for all these strange feelings, this moment would have been confirmation. Jared’s hair is a mess, there’s an imprint of the pillows on the side of his face, and Jensen’s mind just stops working as he stands there taking it all in for a second.

Finally Jared breaks the silence. “I’m sorry,” he says.

“For what?” Jensen asks because his brain is still being slow, but he does manage to walk into the room and close the door behind him.

“Getting drunk and acting stupid.”

“You were acting kind of stupid,” Jensen teases as he climbs onto the bed beside Jared. “It was pretty entertaining though.”

Jared ducks his head and plays with his fingers so Jensen scoots closer, wrapping an arm around Jared’s tense shoulders.

“You told Steve how much you love Britney Spears.” He tilts his head down so he can see Jared’s face and is able to catch the smile that appears. “Guess I got some tough competition, huh?”

“There’s no competition,” Jared says. “You’ve got nothing on her, Jen.”

“Bet she can’t do this.” He lifts Jared’s chin up and presses his lips to Jared’s. His tongue runs over Jared’s bottom lip before slipping into the warmth of Jared’s delicious mouth. When Jared lets out a soft moan, Jensen smiles and tugs at Jared’s hair as he deepens their kiss.

When they finally pulls apart Jared just sits there, his eyes blinking comically before as he opens and closes his mouth a few times.

“Nope,” Jared says. “She definitely can’t do that.”

Jensen smiles and leans in to place another kiss to Jared’s lips, except he pulls away much quicker this time. His smile starts to fade slowly as he reaches out to cup Jared’s face, his thumb rubbing gently over the adorable mole beside Jared’s nose.

“Are you okay, Jensen?” Jared asks.

“I’m graduating this year,” Jensen says and Jared stares. “I want to get away after graduation, but I don’t know where I’m going.”

Jared’s hand closes around Jensen’s wrist and he carefully pulls it down between them.

“You’ve got three more years left.” Jensen laces his fingers through Jared’s and stares at how well their hands fit together. “Your parents hate me and for some reason I actually care about that. I’ve never even met someone’s parents before, Jared. I’m so fuckin’ crazy about you, and you shouldn’t even be with someone like me.”

Instead of saying anything, Jared lifts his free hand and slaps Jensen across the face. Jensen yelps more at the sound then the actual hit, but he still pulls his hand from Jared’s and presses it against his tingling cheek. He stares at Jared, waiting for an explanation, but grows even more confused when Jared starts laughing.

“You’re really stupid,” Jared says once he stops laughing. “Get over yourself, Jen.”

“Excuse me?” Jensen asks.

“You think my world’s just going to end because you graduate?”

“That’s not-”

“In case you couldn’t tell last night, I’m kind of crazy about you too.” Jared pulls Jensen’s hand away and replaces it with his own. “It might be hard, but if you want to do this then we can make it work.”

“I want to do this,” Jensen says as he covers Jared’s hand with his and tilts his head just slightly so he can place a kiss to the inside of Jared’s wrist.

“What will your friends think?” Jared asks with a grin.

“That I’ve gone soft,” Jensen admits.

“That doesn’t bother you?”

“Hell no!” He pushes Jared back against the bed and throws his leg over so he’s straddling Jared. “I’ve got a super hot boyfriend. Plus, I can still kick their asses.”

“Boyfriend?” Jared closes his eyes and smiles. “I like that.”

“I could get used to it.” He leans down and nuzzles his face into Jared’s neck. Jared actually giggles when Jensen kisses what appears to be a very ticklish spot, and Jensen pulls away with a smile. “But instead of trying to get drunk and make me jealous, how about you tell me when something’s bothering you?”

“It’s Chad’s fault,” Jared admits.

“Really?” Jensen sits back and raises an eyebrow. “I know you’re smarter than that. You should probably never listen to anything Chad says.”

“I know, but he’s my friend.”

“Everybody has a few questionable friendships.” Jensen winks at him before leaning back down to find that special spot on Jared’s neck.

When he finds it, Jared not only giggles but he leans his head back and thrusts his hips up against Jensen. That only fuels Jensen’s actions, and before he knows it his hands are running up Jared’s chest, subtlety hinting for the shirt to be removed. Jared doesn’t seem to understand though, and Jensen’s really not that patient right now.

“Jen?” Jared asks once Jensen’s got the shirt over his head and is back to trailing kisses up Jared’s chest. “Were you jealous?”

Jensen sighs and sits back. “Are you going to talk the whole time?”

“I’m just curious,” Jared says softly. “Were you jealous or did you just sit back and laugh at me?”

“All of the above,” Jensen says quickly before he pulls his own shirt off and starts on Jared’s belt.

“Seriously, Jensen!” Jared grabs his shoulders and holds him still.

“Why does it fucking matter, Jared?” He stares at Jared and can see the uncertainty in his eyes, which is enough to answer the question. “I was pissed, then jealous, and then entertained. Okay?”

“I made you jealous!” Jared teases with a proud grin. “You were jealous because you like me!”

Jensen’s not aggressive, but he’s had just about enough sing song girly affirmations of his feelings for one day so he shuts Jared up with a demanding kiss. While he has Jared distracted, he unbuckles Jared’s pants as well as his own and throws both pairs to the floor. Jared’s mouth drops open with a gasp when Jensen closes his hand around Jared’s dick, and Jensen takes advantage to claim even more of Jared’s mouth.

Once Jared’s starting to get breathless, Jensen moves his lips to Jared’s ear and whispers, “I’m cashing my rain-check,” before he tugs at Jared’s earlobe with his teeth.

“Okay,” Jared replies. He takes a deep breath and adds, “Check accepted as long as you have a condom and lube.”

“Such a stickler.” Jensen doesn’t take his lips off Jared as he reaches into the drawer beside the bed and pulls out what he needs.

He has Jared pinned to the mattress as he slides the condom on, but then he finally pulls back just enough to shift further down Jared’s body. His mouth hovers over Jared’ hard cock, hot breath teasing the sensitive area, but then he’s pushing at Jared’s knees and running his hand down Jared’s inner thigh.

Jensen’s mouth dips even lower, his tongue tracing a path over Jared’s balls and cock, then sliding down Jared’s ass. The warm wetness of Jensen’s tongue teases over his crack and Jared’s fists clench at the comforter as he throws his head back with a moan. Jensen continues, his tongue slipping into Jared’s ass just a bit before he slides it back out and runs it over Jared’s ass cheek instead.

“Jesus, Jensen!” Jared shouts when his tongue slides in again. “Hurry it up!”

Jensen ignores him and trails his tongue back up to Jared’s dick, teasing the small slit before moving to Jared’s balls. Then he’s back to trailing kisses up Jared’s chest, neck, and then finally landing on Jared’s lips. It’s enough to drive Jared’s absolutely insane. He finally reaches up and grabs Jensen’s face in his hands, pushing him back just a bit.

“Put that dick to use, Jensen,” he warns.

“Oh I plan on it,” Jensen says. “I’m just not sure when.”

“Right the fuck now!” Jared says before he presses an aggressive kiss to Jensen’s mouth, and then pushes him back even further by the shoulders.

“Yes, sir!” Jensen uncaps the lube and puts a generous amount onto two of his fingers before pressing one of them into Jared.

Jared throws his head back and presses down onto Jensen’s finger as he starts to work in the second one. By the time Jensen’s working on the third finger, Jared’s breathing extremely heavy and his hands have moved from clawing the comforter to clawing at Jensen’s arms.

“Christ, Jen,” Jared says. “Just do it already!”

Jensen happily obliges by slipping his fingers out and replacing them with his dick. He slides in very slowly, watching Jared’s face for any signs of discomfort, but it definitely wasn’t discomfort Jared was feeling.

“Faster, Jen.” Jared’s hands move to Jensen’s back, finger tips digging into his flesh and urging him to move so Jensen does.

He finds a steady rhythm, fucking Jared slowly before picking up the pace, but he knows he’s hitting the spot when Jared starts moaning like a fucking porn star. It isn’t long before Jared’s fingers dig even more into his back, tight muscles clenching on his dick, and then Jared moans even louder as Jensen moves his hand to milk Jared’s orgasm.

The tightness of Jared’s body around his dick is enough to send Jensen over the edge, coming while still clenched in Jared’s ass. He collapses on top of Jared and places soft, tender kisses to Jared’s chest as they both lie there catching their breath.

A knock at the door startles them, and Jared is frantically trying to pull the covers over them, but Jensen holds him down.

Jensen kisses Jared’s frown and then clears his throat. “Yeah?”

“Sophia and I are going out for breakfast,” Chris says from the hallway. “Do you guys want to come?”

Jared throws his head back and groans, but Jensen can’t help laughing. He knows the pun was completely intended.

“No thanks, Chris,” he says. “We’re good.

“Okay, just make sure you stay hydrated!”

Jensen listens as Chris heads back downstairs, laughing obnoxiously loud at his own joke. Once he’s sure, Chris is out of earshot he loosens his grip on Jared and presses a light kiss to Jared’s cheeks where the pink tinge is showing. He leans back once more and waits for Jared to open his eyes, green eyes meeting big hazel ones, and Jensen almost feels like he’s been electrocuted. The intensity of his feelings scares the hell out of him, yet the moment he looks into Jared’s eyes he knows this is exactly where he’s supposed to be.

He opens his mouth to speak, but the words get caught with the lump in his throat. Jared runs his gentle hand over Jensen’s face, and Jensen leans into the comforting touch, allowing himself to relax.

“I think I love you,” he whispers.

Jared moves his hand to the back of Jensen’s neck and pulls him down into a deep kiss. When they break apart, Jensen’s forehead presses against Jared’s and both of Jared’s warm hands are now resting comfortably on the sides of Jensen’s face.

Jared smiles and says, “I love you too.”

The End.
