It's been YEARS since we've hosted a Buffy the Vampire Sing-Along at the Alamo Drafthouse, and it's been 10 years to the week since Once More With Feeling first aired on our television sets. But this weekend with the help of the Wizard World Comic Con we're bringing Buffy back to the big screen for one of the most exciting Whedon events we've ever put together. Once again we'll get to enjoy Hush in total silence before a full Sing-Along presentation of Once More With Feeling featuring fangs, bubbles, lighters and more, but this time JAMES MARSTERS HIMSELF WILL BE JOINING US IN THE THEATER.
James won't be signing autographs at the event (you'll have to go to the convention for that), but he will be introducing both episodes and hosting a Q&A to tell us all about his favorite moments from his time in Sunnydale. If we're lucky we may even be able to get him to hum a few bars into the microphone, and of course it will be all sorts of amazing when we get to yell out, "So... you're not staying then?" at the end of the night.
Buffy fans, this is your night to wear your heart on your sleeve, walk through the fire, dance crazy, and reminisce about where we all went from there. We'll be in hea-ven for sure (as long as no pesky bunnies show up to ruin our fun).
This show is this Saturday, November 12th at Alamo Ritz at 9:30pm! Tickets for this event can be purchased HERE. Please note that it's a little pricier than our other shows. We had more costs to cover, but proceeds after that will be donated!
