Essay prompt post for Hanatarou, Lyra, and Kazumi. Maybe if other people prompt me to essay, I'll actually stop being lazy and do it. (I um, need the practice for my senior thesis!)

So canonically, these are Kazumi's thoughts on het (specifically, her classmate Nodoka's crush on Negi... which also makes it her thoughts on shouta but I like to think this is a special case because it's Negi and all):
Nodoka: I'm... afraid to hear his response, so... Kazumi: Ahahahaha! You're so cute, Miyazaki! ♥ We can't have that! You're not a primary school girl anymore, you know! Well, whatever, it doesn't really matter... Nodoka: Ah... this could be troublesome for Sensei, so please keep it a secret... Kazumi: Okay, okay! I got it! I'm supporting you, so give it your best, Miyazaki! ♥
And these are Kazumi's canon thoughts on yuri (specifically, her classmates Konoka and Setsuna who are supertextually in love but won't admit it):
Kazumi: Mmm, so they do have that kind of relationship after all? ... Why didn't you tell us about something as important as this? How long have you two been going out for?! [insert extra fangirling with partner in crime Haruna] Konoka: P...please, just a minute here! Setsuna: What are you all talking about?! Kazumi: Oh, don't worry, Onee-san here will support you! I'll make the newspaper story really tasteful, so don't worry about a thing... [fangirling etc., then to the rest of the class:] All right, you punks! We're gonna be their support!
Sadly, canon doesn't give us a chance to see Kazumi's thoughts on yaoi, but by this point it kind of doesn't need to. 8D She will enthusiastically support any relationship regardless of age or gender, especially if one or both parties are hesitant and even more especially if they're in downright denial. Which is probably a bit more frequent in same-sex relationships, so I'll go with saying she finds those somewhat more interesting than het ones.
Though despite what she says about the newspaper to Konoka and Setsuna... I think she was just kidding around there; and her main interest in relationships doesn't lie in them being a potential item of news. She says to herself after finding out about Nodoka that she can't get a story out of something like that and it could only lead to trouble if she published it. Relationships are just something she finds exciting from a personal standpoint, and she wants her friends to find happy ones!
And of course we've seen how this has played out in camp so far. |D Caesar and Hugo are totally Konoka and Setsuna: The Yaoi Remix. Totally.
