I can't believe that people are making such a big deal over what Kanye West did @ the VMA's. Yes it was rude, wrong, and mean, but... he does this every year.

For at least the last three years, the day after the VMAs (or that night if you actually watch them) there is a hubbub about some stunt that he pulled. Seriously people? Is our collective memory that crappy?

And no, long-term wrong doesn't make a right, but its so obvious what he was suggesting/doing/mirroring through his actions- Mr. "You Lie" and his outburst in a place that has standards, hell- LAWS for conduct relating to outbursts (especially towards the POTUS), the use of electonic devices during speeches/sessions, etc. Both men's actions were inappropriate, but I have much higher expectations and standards for an individual paid to represent a state as an active participant in our government. I can't say the same for a predictable, old me-me stunt pulled at a Video Awards show for a channel that doesn't even air videos. One of these individuals was very likely compensated (in advance) for their actions, and it wasn't the one in D.C.

But of course, Jared said it better!
