Super Bowl Sadness
So very, very sad. :( I know it's silly to get emotionally invested in the outcome of a game where large men wearing padding smash into each other... but still. I can't help it. I really wanted the Patriots to beat the Giants in revenge for 2007. I was really hoping they'd win, especially in honor of the owner's wife, who passed away last year (if you watched the game, you may have noticed the MHK badges on the Pats' jerseys -- this was for Myra Kraft). But they just couldn't get the job done, and the better team won.
Oh well. At least the margaritas (all 5 of them I downed) were delicious. And I think I managed to consume half my body weight in buffalo chicken dip, so that's always a plus. I think I'll lie here in my bed with the fresh clean sheets and wallow by listening to depressing songs. What's your favorite sad song? I could use some new additions to my playlist.
