Half-rhymey Barney's POV poem thingy

She’s a butt-kicking, jaw-dropping action heroine

I’m the booze-gulping, girl-charming evil villain

We were made for each other

No, no--can't work together

Neither of us want it and that's that

We don't do love, we don't do couples,

We don't do sitting-at-the-bar-wondering-where-you-are come-and-we’ll-suit-up’lls

You're no bimbo beauty queen, I'm no muscle machine, why are we even considering this at all?

Maybe ‘cause we take what we want in life

Doesn’t mean we’re husband and wife

All I want is to see you today

Maybe steal a glance or two

And exchange a couple words once the rest have gone away.

She’s a real straight shooter, not a 10 but can’t get cuter,

And I am definitely only admiring the view.

Love is for Teds, and I’m nothing if not a pro

Don’t give a hint of warning, I just ditch ‘em in the morning

But I couldn’t do that to another bro

So.

Just avoid the talk, go ahead and gawk,

We’re not lovers, just a couple of friends

Too much feeling gets it silly (talking to YOU, Marshall, Lilly),

So we’re just friends, I don’t really mind

Well, yeah, it’s kinda hard, and I feel like a retard-but I’ll still fight

Because Feelings gotta die sometime,

Right?
