Speaking of which, I usualy say 'ee-ah-go', but it often gets shortened to something in between if I say it fast.
But, shocking as it may be, I've never subscribed to the 'Iago-was-totally-in-love-with-Othello' theory. Personally, I find him far too badass when he basically has no motive other than 'I want to fuck with these guys' lives, because I can'. To me, he's always been a psycopath, who's put on these acts of emotion or closeness to Othello or Roderigo or whoever so as to manipulate them to his will. I adore how he keeps rattling off these excuses and motives, until he eventually just admits that, yeah, he's just doing it for fun. And [SPOILER ALERT] the moment he kills Roderigo - "oh villain!" - oh god, he's so amazing.
Also I totally voiced him in class, so I'm probably a little biased, because it gave me the opportunity to shout "Villainous whore!" in the middle of english. It was awesome.
Oh god I love this play so much.

Me neither, actually, even though it's fun - if we don't take him at his word when he's talking about Desdemona, or saying how honest he is, and we're even wary of him in his soliloquies, why should we believe him when he says "I love you" or the like? (Although to be honest, "I am your own forever" chokes me up a bit.)

Oh god, now I just want to read this whole play over again, what have you done, at least my trials are over, but still. Don't really have time to re-read Othello. Maybe I can get some year elevens to discuss it with me...

Maybe he was trying to make Othello jealous.
Dude, I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen and he took total advantage of Cassio there. It's the kind of thing he'd do. "Okay, man, you can get off me now. No? Right then. Might as well. You brought this on yourself, you know. What's that? You don't want this? Well, as I said - not my fault. You propositioned me, you know."
