{He groans softly but stays still, locking his eyes on the beast as the pineapple checks him over. He blinks at the poke and furrows his brow.}

{He utters an indignant grunt as he's leaned upon, since his hat is sort of pushed over his eyes a little. But he's still got his gaze locked on the damn thing anyway.}

{He bows his head a little, the brim covering his expression from Marco's view. His fists clench, white-knuckled and his shoulders tense firmly till he shakes a little. He then lashes out, planting a solid fist in the middle of Marco's sternum. It's not enough to knock the air out of him, but should be enough to startle him at least and get his point across.}

I won't do it again. Never again. {THAT was a very stern promise.}

[Marco just responds with a stoic hug, leaning his head on Ace's shoulders so he can whisper quietly in his ear.]
