School at Sac City starts, officially, august 25th. I am taking one class at this campus, Psychology of Creativity, Intuition and Problem Solving. Classes at ARC start on Sept 5th. I am taking Classical Humanities, Physical Anthropology, Concept of Design, and Political Science. My mom finally broke down and bought my books for me. I think she realized that without the books, I can't stay enrolled. Without being enrolled, I don't have any sort of health insurance. So, thank God she chose the lesser cost. I get to be healthy (or something like it,) AND attend my classes. w00t.
My parents gave me a bike (my grandmothers old Raleigh from about 25+ years ago...) for my birthday. They took it to Cycle Works downtown and had it all tuned up, new tires, new brakes. It's awesome. It's like.. a real version of those hipster bikes you see rolling around. They also gave me earrings and some cash. This was actually the first birthday I can remember in a long time where my parents got it right.. Good times. Actual good times.
The party was cool. I had a blast. Tons of amazing people showed up from, pretty much, all over the state. Haha. Went until about 4am. Thanks to everyone who really made my birthday not suck balls this year.
Wayne and I welcomed a new member of the family yesterday. Chauncey Baker-Smith is a 6wk old Calico mix kitten. There's a picture on my MySpace.
It's really hard to care about updating this stupid thing.
