well kids, that sure was fun. if she saw the entries, awesome. if she didnt, awesome (though feel free to send them to her if she wants them!) at any rate, i had them up and open and out there for a day, and i got all the pent up bullshit from 7 months of living with the thunder twins out of my system. haaaaallellujah!

went to see chi unit last night @ marilyns. steve, matt, and mike are all in that band, so i had to go! how random. i don't recall the other drummers (they had double kits) and the keyboardists name. but let me say this: this is one of the best shows i have ever been to. and i'm not kidding around. there was so much energy on stage, all musicians absolutely rocked the entire house and i was absolutely floored at the sheer skill and talent of those involved.
it was really neat because oz and adam were there, too (of guitar center fame.) carmen was there as well. it was nice to see her, it had been a really long time and i was not in a good enough place (literally/figuratively) to effectively nuture a new friendship with somebody. she bought me a fat tire, and i was a happy panda. same basically goes for the others mentioned, as well. 'cept for the them buying me a beer part.
meeting tonight for 'Drenched in Perception,' so im excited for that. i am so blessed that i get to be in an art show, so early on in what i hope to be a budding career. as it stands i have about 3 paintings sold and one other inquiry. so thats not so shabby, eh?
on monday i have a lunch meeting with the proprietor of Zanzibar Gallery. the meeting is in regards to me taking over the website, and being the one to answer the emails they get from shows and artists about getting involved in second saturday. i am volunteering for this position, as second saturday, this far, is run out of pocket by a few choice individuals who want to keep independent art alive.
i am also 'spose to be seeing melissa today aruond 4? or so. i dont have much (read:any) money, so we'll have to be super creative and cheap. fine with me. i am having nasty bad allergies today, so i hope those die down before i must venture out into the wild. (read:outside.)
