I really hope theater continues to be as comical as it has been so far.
So there is very nice older man named Paul in my theatre class who is clearly very old and very...retarded. literally.
He's really nice and I HATE HATE HATE to be an asshole but he makes me laugh so fucking hard. Today we had to stand up in front of the class and tell them two truths, and one lie.
So Paul stands up in front of the class and he says (in his special voice..)
"I'M 47 YEARS OLD."
"I LOVE CHABOT."
"I'M A VERY GOOD SWIMMER."
so..the teacher asks, "Do you think he's lying about being 47 years old?"
I raised my hand. This fool is old.
The teacher asks, "Do you think he's lying about loving Chabot?"
it was HILARIOUS because nobody raised their hand because he CLEARLY loved chabot with all of his heart. He verified this by nodding his head feverishly about loving chabot.
Then the teacher asks, "Do you think he's lying about being a good swimmer?"
a few people raise their hand.
and then, again in his special voice he says, "I LIED. I'M NOT 47 I'M 52. I LOVE CHABOT VERY MUCH. I'M ALSO A VERY GOOD SWIMMER."
lmao. okay, well, let me tell you the story in person and I swear to god it's hilarious!
