state semifinal

i personally watch a lot of basketball. i watch nba, college, and high school games all the time, as well as play the game myself. so i would say that i have a pretty good knowledge of the game, and what makes a game great. so i would have to say, that yesterday's 64-57 fp win over oakton was one of the greatest games i have ever seen. we trailed from the middle of the second quarter, all the way until 3:27 left in the game, when we hit a three to tie the game 55-55. at that point, we were screaming so loud, and trying to rally the team, that the momentum was never gonna leave our side. and it didnt, because from that point on, we closed the game on a 9-2 run. and let me tell you, for the longest time, it appeared as if we were not going to win the game, as we would get as close as four, only for them to score several baskets to go back up six or eight points. needless to say however, we the fans helped/did all that we could to help our team. the oakton student cheering section prolly had us three to one, but we knew how to cheer, and like to think that we helped the team win.

however, we need more people for the state final game! this is the most important game of the year, and the princess anne team that we will be playing is a very very good team. they have skills, so we need to come ready to support our team. so if you wish to come to the game, you can join in on the caravan that i already have started. so far, we have 10 people going in the caravan. if you wish to join, just show up at my house, 15285 bowmans folly drive, at noon on sunday. just make sure to tell me before hand, so i know not to leave without you. but we will roll down there, arrive around 1:30, get some lunch, and then walk over to the seigel center, ready to support our team!!!
