Someone who holds people against their will isn't a very good friend. No more than you would expect the Admiral to be.

No, but she was a friend of a friend. [He thinks. He can't speak much for Vanessa.] And she didn't want anything to happen to me.

Something did. She knocked me out to tie me up. And then because of her plan being made in complete error, there would have been no response to her hostage demands. She would have had to kill us, and she would have achieved nothing. Furthermore, she was expecting us to be possessed by something that wasn't there.

And by that logic, the Admiral keeps you fed, clothed, gives you a means to communicate with others on the ship, and doesn't personally lock you in your rooms. But you don't appreciate this, do you?

[This actually took a lot of calm for him to say. The entire situation has peeved him off at the Barge more than he wants to admit and made him resent both wardens and inmates equally. He's a lot angrier than he's letting on and will probably need to go and kick things. So she's probably not going to get a response.]

But she didn't! She just had a bad plan, no one got hurt! [Getting knocked out doesn't count. :|] You're angry because she caught you.
