(no subject)
It's always around this time, right around the end of semester, when I am just soo ready to go home.
Winter break is 13 days away and it can't come soon enough. I love being at school but I miss home, I miss my friends from home, I miss my family. And everything here is just...the same. It's repetitive. Luckily, classes are almost over. I just have two more tomorrow, one of which is a party in my journalism class, complete with pinata and lots of food. And Monday, I have to make up a 3 hour class which totally sucks but at least I'll be done after that. Then just two finals, one take home final, and a project and I'm completely done for the Fall 2007 semester. It was really a good semester. It went ridiculously fast but I enjoyed it. I learned so much and THANK GOD I love everything about my major so far haha. Otherwise I would be seriously re-considering my future.
Next semester I'm all set to take 6 classes. I'm trying out a psychology class because I'm thinking of minoring in it. I don't want to say that I'm cramming classes in, but that's basically what I'm doing. I really don't want to have to worry about taking the hard classes second semester senior year, so I'm getting as much done now as possible so I can take it easy in my last year, maybe do an internship or something.
My room is seriously like 2 degrees right now. Crazy cold. I can't even sit in here without wearing at least 3 layers. Awesome.
But anyway, I love this time of year because of the holiday season! Even though no one LOOKS cheerful, it just FEELS cheerful...at least to me. Hooray! Happy winter!
