(no subject)
I haven't updated in forever. So I'm updating right now...from Virginia. I'm visiting my grandparents for Passover and missing school while I'm here which is kinda nice. In fact, I'm taking this whole week off so yay for me being a rebel.
Anyway...this semester is going so fast which I like. My classes are all really good. Tennis season started up again. I went from playing exhibition and hardly playing any matches to now playing number 4 singles as well as number 3 doubles. So in other words, I'm playing alot of hardcore matches. This past weekend were my first two matches and it turned out to be pretty rough. It's alot more physically and emotionally exhausting to be playing in this position than I thought it would be and I actually ended up having a couple of mental breakdowns all leading up to the grand finale of me bursting into tears after yesterday's match. I don't even know why...I just felt embarrassed I guess and I didn't want to disappoint anyone by not playing as well as I know I can. So I just cried. Ha. But all is well now and that little phase should be over by the time I play my next match. And I'm going to win dammit! Doubles on the other hand is going great and my partner and I are kicking some major bootie. So that's good!
I can't wait for summer vacation. I love college. I love my friends at college. I'm just ready for summer. I'm ready to be home and be with my friends at home and all that jazz. There's just a comfort in knowing that warm weather and free time are just around the corner. And I can be lazy and get sunburned and not have a worry in the world. Until next semester starts lol. But until then...whatever!
