NAME: Aisha Clanclan
CANON: Outlaw Star
CANON REFERENCE:
Wiki Page AGE: 15
GENDER: Female
YEAR IN SCHOOL: HS 1
ENROLLMENT: Comes from a wealthy family, who paid her tution
APPEARANCE: Aisha is 5'4", with light brown skin and blue-green eyes. Her hair is very long and grayish-white, and is generally in a braid down her back to be out of the way. Sometimes she'll put it up with various shiny clips and things, but most times she keeps it in this style. There's a small blue tattoo under her left eye, that she tells the teachers is a birthmark.
She's both curvy and athletic, a gift from genetics. Well, genetics and constantly training for some sport. Although she tends to be clumsy, her movements tend to be rather cat-like. When not in school uniform, she dresses in a mix of punk/biker bunny/rocker and girly, romantic pieces. Of course, t-shirts and jeans work fine too. While in uniform, she'll wear tights with various acessories, the most common being obscenely large earrings. If you ask her if she cares about fashion, she'll just shrug it off by saying she's "supposed to look superior, being a Clanclan" . . . but she does. She really, really does.
Occasionally, she's been spotted wearing a pair of large cat ears with a bell collar. Teasing her about this doesn't tend to end well.
PERSONALITY: One of Aisha's most notable traits, and biggest flaws, is her pride. She has a massive amount of pride in herself and her family name. She'll often mention the superiority of the Clanclans, and honestly thinks she's better than other people. It should be noted that it has nothing to do with her family's money, or even their prestige. Aisha is proud of her family simply because they are her family, and she would feel that way even if they were poor.
This gets her in trouble at times. She irritates people with her loud, brash claims, and is nearly incapable of admitting she can't do something if someone offers help. Oh, she'll ask someone to teach her to be better at something, but she'll do it in a way that still makes her feel superior. She feels that not being able to do something makes her weak, and she hates feeling weak.
Although she's been the top of her class before, the thing that makes Aisha proudest of herself is her fighting skills. She simply loves rough-housing, and if it comes down to it, will not back down from a fist fight. However, she refuses to fight someone who's unable to fight back, or refuses to. Aisha didn't really want to hurt her teacher like she did, and it affected her enough to give her a strong sense of ethics about picking on the weak.
On the other side of the highly ambitous, egotistical girl? Is the bubbly, teasing, fun-loving one. She's always giving people nicknames, and getting in their personal space. Surprisingly enough, she genuinely likes people, and loves being in a big crowd. This is who Aisha is when she's not reminded that she's supposed to be better than everyone at everything, and she's much happier without her duties holding her down. It hasn't been tested much yet, but Aisha has the potential to be a great friend, if she would stop being obessed with being superior to everyone.
Aisha is always honest about her feelings about everything except her own insecurites. You want to know if she likes that teacher? You want to know if she likes you? Just ask her. And even if she doesn't outright say anything, the girl is notoriously bad at hiding her emotions.
The fight with her parents right before she left hurt her more than she will acknowledge. It led her to question her unflinching pride in herself, and her goal to bring honor to her family. She's pretty sure her parents will never seen her how they did before, and that both pisses her off and makes her want to cry. And deep down, she knows that she doesn't really want to have to be the solider girl anymore. But she's not quite sure what that makes her now, so she simply ignores those feelings most of the time. Her motto is to "get over it", and she expects other people to follow it too.
COMPUTER APTITUDE: She's reasonably good at computers. No major skills towards hacking, but she should be able to put a filter up okay.
WEAKNESSES (OPTIONAL): She is proud to the point of it being a detriment to her well-being. She puts up a facade as being untouchable, which is almost true. But her parents are a sore point with her, enough to seriously hurt her feelings if you throw her relationship with them in her face. She's also hot-tempered, and not above arguing someone over her, no matter the consequence.
AU HISTORY: Aisha grew up as a spoiled only child to a wealthy couple in Richmond, Virginia. Her family had a legacy in politics, be it in the military, judicial, or executive branches of government. It was rumored that they earned their wealth through illegal means, but that was never proven. Aisha was expected to follow in the family tradition, and she wanted to make her family proud, so she never expected to do anything else.
As a child, Aisha was bright and curious. She was absolutely enamored with space, and begged her parents to decorate her room with spaceships and stars. The girl was also a very active child, constantly running and playing. She could beat nearly anyone at anything in sports. Dodge-ball was her favorite game, being a team's last hope or worst nightmare was thrilling. Her parents gave her the nickname "Kitten", because the way she would crawl in their laps at night and fall asleep. She adored her parents back then, and they were very close.
Her parents sent her off to military boarding school as soon as she got to elementary age, and she continued in it all the way through the ninth grade. She generally excelled at her given tasks, revealing her rather ambitious nature. She didn't just want to win at anything, she wanted to dominate. She planned on making a name for herself in the school, and going down in history. But although she listened to her teachers (and could kiss up to them if necessary), she didn't automatically respect them because of their position. When she was thirteen, a high-ranking military official came to speak. During the question and answer segment, Aisha loudly disagreed with the man's policies, resulting in demerits and her parents being called. This caused Aisha to have a general dislike for authority, especially the type that expected you to follow them blindly.
Her large ego made her rather abrasive to her peers, despite her bubbly personality. It resulted in the girl having lots of superficial friendships at school, though she got along with guys much better. She was one of the boys in a sense, blunt and rough and tumble. A tomboy at heart, she still liked "girly things" like pretty clothes and makeup, but kept that under wraps. If a friend would ask her about it, she would mention "pride and standards" as the reason she cared about those kinds of things.
During the summers, Aisha would come home, but her parents were absent most of the time. They left someone there to watch her, but Aisha constantly gave them grief and went off to do her own thing, exploring the city. After all, getting around was easy with money and a bus pass.
When she was away from school, Aisha was happier, goofier. Without the pressure to be a perfect solider girl, she explored her other interests. She often found herself in planeteriums, so much so that she had a good relationships with most of the staff. She met some other kids that were visiting there that summer, and stayed in touch with them though the years. As a joke, she claims them as her family too. She also had a thing for wrestling, from classical Greco-Roman to lucha libre. She even loved watching the WWF, both to admire the showmanship and to mock the obviously fake moves.
She also got into a lot of street fights with people her age. Luckily no one got seriously hurt, but she loved fighting. It made her feel alive, testing and proving her strength.
One particular summer, she stumbled on a women's backyard wrestling tournament. She tried to register for it, but they said she was too young. Sneaking around, she managed to find a woman who was already entered into it, and fought her for her spot. She won that fight, snuck into the tournament, and eventually won, going by the woman's handle "Firecat". Aisha considers that the proudest moment of her life.
When she was fifteen, her ego and hot temper finally got the best of her, and she argued with a teacher in front in the class. The arguement got rather heated, and she punched the teacher in the face. Aisha broke the woman's jaw, and she was expelled from the prestigious school. Her parents managed to bribe the woman not to press charges, but the damage to their reputation had been done. Instead of sending her to a public school, they made an elaborate story to tell the rest of the family and sent her to Reims against her will. The arguement about it was ugly, and her dad let it slip that she was "a disgrace to the family name". She's rather disillusioned about her relationship, and convinced that she can't please them no matter how good or talented she is.
The night of that fight, Aisha stormed out of the house. With her trusty credit card, fake id and bus pass, she managed to get her face tattooed in the style of war paint she so admired. It was small, but it effectively put any political career she could have in jeopardy.

INTRANET/1ST PERSON SAMPLE
[This is a video feed, fitlered to both teachers and students. It opens up with a eye staring into the camera, which eventually backs to show a girl with a mask on. She takes it off and starts to talk.]
Whoops, didn't mean for it to come on yet. Just trying on my new lucha mask, isn't it awesome? My friend Mel had it made for me as a present . . . but even though Aisha looks epic in it, that's not what this is about.
So I go to the wrestling coach to try out for the team, right? And he says Aisha can't be on it because I'm a girl. [And because of her record from her old school, but whatever.] That's not fair, I'm plenty tough enough for that! I could probably beat HIM if I wanted to! This is not cool at all . . .
Maybe one of you guys can go change his mind? Let's face it, those people need me, nyah~
LOG/3RD PERSON SAMPLE
It was strange. Aisha had just started the tenth grade, but she felt like a freshman. Or maybe worse, because at least freshmen were supposed to be new. But she wasn't too worried. After all, just because her parents had shipped her off to France didn't mean she had to be some awkward wall-flower, right? No, she would adapt, just like she always had.
For a private school, Reims always seemed a little crowded. She liked that, it gave her a excuse to get a little rough, push and shove if she needed. Yes, she knew it wasn't very nice. But she'd never considered herself to be a very nice girl. Strolling through the hall on the way to lunch, she ran smack into a group of giggling girls. Peering at the table they were crowding, Aisha noticed something. A sign-up list.
A sign-up list for cheerleading tryouts, of all the dumb-ass things to get excited about.
Yeah, let's bend over backwards to cheer on the guys who actually play sports. Aisha sneered at the thought. Cheerleading wasn't a sport, cheerleading was dancing and flipping and she could do that without a title. And do it better.
But those skirts were really freaking cute. And she wouldn't be "the new girl that might have killed a guy" anymore. She leaned on some lockers across the hall, pulled out a cookie. Munched and thought.
Was she seriously, honestly considering this? Surrounding her self with whiny chicks and their dumb football boyfriends on purpose? Gene would laugh his ass off at her. And yet . . .
The idea of doing something new was nearly irresistible, now that she'd gotten it in her head. Hell, she could even be captain! And who didn't want to be the boss? And if she was completely honest with herself, it sounded just plain fun to be tossed in the air. Walking back over to the table, she signed her name with a flourish.
Done and done. As far as Aisha was concerned, she was already on the team.
HAVE YOU READ THE FAQ? I don't want the rabid wombats to get me, so yes, yes I have.
