Loud, proud, and punk!

I would like to say now, that this weekend was AWESOME.

Kirsten's party was great. Extreme croquet is crazy and... yeah, nothing quite like it. Getting attacked with the busted mallet just added to the excitement. I hope that the rest of the night after I left was good. I had a ton of fun, the night was full of randomness and I saw a bunch of kids I hadn't chilled with in a long ass time. It was great.

THE SHOW AT GAIGE'S WAS FUCKING INCREDIBLE.

KIf, Minnie, and I all showed up a little before 7. Minnie dresssed as a hippie and totally got stared at. I wore pretty much normal clothes (for me) with my kitty ears... which made me a kitty.... yeah. There was a small fire before the show and people got to roast marshmallows; it was so awesome. I haven;t done that in so long. Plus, the fire kept me nice and warm. ^^

The Unforseen played first, and they were pretty good. Kids in the pit made me laugh, they'd mosh for like 30 seconds and then go back to the walls, like kids in a middle school dance. After them was Last Hope Down, who were AWESOME. I was afraid they'd steal the show from The Rotten Apples, that's how good they were. Their greatness just pushed the other two bands to do even BETTER later though. They sang a song about beer that was really funny. Pits got better for these kids. Next came the Noizy Oizys. Holy shit, I loved it. Bobby Blackheart has GREAT stage prescence. He got the crowd so involved. They had some great original stuff and the covers made me smile too. We're not gonna take it, I Wanna be sedated (which Bob opened with the line, "Do you ever just... wanna be sedated?"), and their final song was Born to Die by Choking Victim. I almost died; I was so happy-- no one listens to that song for some reason. The Rotten Apples came on last... it was worth the fucking wait. HELL YES. Danny was just as good as, if not better than, Bob at getting the crowd riled up and ready to participate in the show. It was insanely good. I moshed like all hell for them (but most of my injuries came from moshing during the previous two bands). Their new shit was AMAZING; these guys need to update the music on the MySpace. Plus, they pulled off a really good Misfits cover. Danny brought Devon up on stage for some of the OLD Rotten Apples numbers, it was great. Everyone screamed for more after their last song, and they of course complied.

I got to fucking sing Crack Rock Steady. FUCK YES! Danny rocked out on the drums instead of Gaige for this song, and I got the mic and just.. yeah, it rocked. People complimented me and shite. I wish I hadn't fucked up the last part though (the "riots are when police come around" bit got totally skipped over >.>). It was still good though. Gaige's dad was really nice to everyone after the show and gave anyone who wanted it rice and food in the kitchen. He's awesome; he even got in the mosh pit.

Kif drove Nick home, then Minnie, Stormy, and I headed back to my place. We convinced Kif to stick around because he was pissed at some bullshit that went down; poor doll. He stayed till maybe... 7 AM? It was completely light outside by the time he left and there was dew on the grass and everything. We all watched movies and talked and ate stuff; it was cool. I love when people come back to the house. Kif said he'd try and bring himself back over on Sunday, but never did. Oh well... he's poor. On the plus side, my bruises from the show are looking quite lovely, and the one on my face thank goodness has faded already. It was all festive and purple on my eyebrow.

The weekend, in short, was really great. I was so happy and got some awesome pictures. Stay tuned for possible pictures if.. you know, I get not-lazy. On the old roll of film, there's even a picture of Danny attempting to violate Kiffer with the turkey baster... I expect nothing less from Spicy McBondage.

I love you guys, you always make me smile.
