for those of you following along...
35 hours of transit. toronto - detroit - toyko, japan - bangkok, thailand.
from bangkok we made our way north to sukhothai, the oldest capital city in thailand.
then headed farther north to chiang mai.
from here we'll go north again, to pai.
then head to Laos when our visa's expire on Dec 20th.
