plans, sun, and BTT...

I was informed yesterday from Farmstead that they want us to do an acoustic type deal Friday night. A guy from their youth group died of an overdose a few days ago and, obviously, all the kids are pretty broken up about it still. It's just going to be straight praise and worship, which will still be great. I was just really looking forward to pushing our new sound system to see it's potential. We're still going to use it, just not in a very complicated way. Jon and I will just play guitar, Cary on bass, and Josh will sing with me while working the egg shaker. It's still going to be a 5 song set, so come out and worship with us and pray for that youth group.

This morning I saw the sunrise - the first time in a while. I got up at around 5:50a to meet up with Crystal at Walker High. We played and sang for their See You At The Pole thing. I didn't go to sleep until 1:30a this morning so you can guess how tired I am. If you can't, well, let's put it this way - I'm almost to the point where I couldn't walk straight or operate heavy machinery. Or come up with good metaphors. Sorry...

The See You After The Pole thing is tonight at 6:00. It's going to be awesome. Everyone, please come to this. By the Tree is worth the effort alone. I'm interested in seeing how the band will set up in the CHS building.
