01. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
declared my own personal snow day, withdrew from a class, went to military ball, ran half the marathon, bought my first car, went south, lived in my own apartment, lived without a microwave, made honest to goodness friends with total strangers, hardly ever bought my own drinks, ran into people I knew in a city where I thought I knew no one, stayed up until 5:00 every time I went out, cheered on the braves, drove to alabama, drove 12 hours in one day, got drunk before noon with good friends, wore a college graduation gown, convocated, took an econ class at MIT, got a D on an exam, made bff with my TA, still got a D in the class, bought a mac, skyped, got busted by karen, celebrated my birthday in style, learned to bartend, started training for a marathon.
02. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
next years resolutions: take a photograph every day, work hard, put 100% into everything, enjoy my last semester of Wellesley, travel far, learn to let go.

cash money.

facing my fears and having the time of my life in atlanta, albright fellowship, realizing what I have before it's gone.

crippling anxiety.

The night before I turned 22 I went out with everyone to Mary Chung's, Mirical, and PDT. The day of my birthday I slept late, went to the bpl to study with rem, and came home for dinner, cake, and presents. Then back to PDT for studying and sleeping (at 4am...oh finals).

friends not at a distance.
