its like project x or something...

so i'm walking to work yesterday morning, and i'm approaching bryant park. they're setting up an exhibit titled "yahoo tech monkey" at the park, with a tent and a bunch of tech items. well, as i'm crossing the street to approach the exhibit, there's a white van parked along side the road, right before the crosswalk. and as i get closer, the wheels on the van start to turn toward the road. so, naturally, i slow up, thinking that the driver is going to pull out of his spot. well, i pause, and notice that the wheels are turning the other way now. i look through the drivers window, and a MONKEY is driving the van! (well, ok, not really driving, but behind the wheel). it was the third coolest thing i've ever seen a monkey do-- right next to the roller-skating chimp in those old black & white movies, and the smoking chimp at that south african zoo.

anyway, long story short, i continued walking through the park and went to work.
