Ratatouille has now been seen by the me 6 times...
Damn I love Ratatouille.
Well I was thinking about it, it kinda reminds me of the whole Disney situation.
August Gustou= Walt Disney. He embraced the original. He was willing to take risks and tried new things. Always wanted things fresh. Now how Disney dying of a broken heart, it could have been his few passionate works not being immediate successes. IE Fantasia and Peter Pan. However he did end up dying.
After that things didn't appear to be the same. Gusteau's Restorante lost it's stars.
Skinner ( Eisner) took over and started making the mass produced microwaveable foods (direct to video sequels) making the brand bland and unexciteable.
Remi and Linguini come in and dare to try something new. He ends up being the one that succeeds the restorante and starts to bring all what was good back to the restorante.
I know it's kind of a light overview but just a lot of stuff seemed to match up.
