Lost harks back to season one

I really enjoyed this week's episode of Lost. It was a big barrel of laughs the whole way through. It was great seeing more insight into Hurley's backstory and the fabled meteor that struck Mr. Clucks! i adored the story about the bus with Sawyer teaching Jin how to speak to the ladies, his nicknames for everyone and the misfortunate Roger who lost his head (Skeletor haha.) The ending was so sweet when they managed to get the bus going. There was also some more Skate angst which I am a big fan of. I love the tension between those two, you can really see how much they care for each other but don't want to say anything.
It was great to see The French Chick make a return at the end of the episode. I knew who Kate was looking for as soon as she said it. It was also really nice for Danielle to find out about her daughter, Alex. I can't wait for that reunion, it's going to be so emotional.
With the beach/jungle episodes I really hope Lost can get back to it's best and I have every faith it will from next week's promo. It hasn't been awful this season contrary to popular belief on some of the forums. It just hasn't been outstanding, apart from a selection of episodes. They seem to have got a little bogged down in telling the others story but now we are off Alcatraz I think the story will really kick into gear now :)
