Living with strangers
Not my favourite pursuit I have to say :)
My new housemates are perfectly nice, if a little anal but being foriegn there is a real problem with communication. They both have really strong accents so it's not easy for me to understand them either. I am already not the easist guy to communicate with so this has become a bit of a problem :/ It can also be really frustrating as they might misunderstand what you are trying to say. They seem to have very little patience with me. If I say something they don't understand it's like I smell of dog poo or something or maybe that's just me LOL They say they can understand their English friends at uni better than me :/
I think I generally get on a lot better with English people. Maybe there's a bit of a racist in me >) Who knows? I had a really great time at my sister's friends party but I went to a couple of the girl's parties and it stank. The people came across as strange apart from one german guy.
