Shean Shean Shean... Calgary Wins!
So apparently I decided to die for awhile… I’ve been busy! I went and saw MiGGs a couple times… the sweetwater show was random… I love the new songs though! And then on Monday I went to the Hockey game! And Calgary won!!! They are the only team that is allowed to beat the Sharks! I mean it’s not my fault they traded Shean… if they hadn’t I would never have to root against them! The game was cool… Shean got an assist!
So the day before I was downtown for lunch at Original Joes (which by the way was kinda not good) if you don’t know OJ’s is right around the corner from the Fairmont where the visiting team stays. Around 3 I saw a bus and I was joking around and I told Brian that it was Shean… well guess what about 10 min later my phone rings… and guess who it is… It was Shean he let me know he just got into town and had just gotten to the hotel…Sorry that was a random side note!
So after the game Brandon, Keven, my mom and I went under to the Calgary locker room area so I could say hey to Shean for a min! He was nice as always and I let him know that I was going to go to the last 2 games of the season for them in Anaheim and LA and he was like ok well just call me when you get into town and we could do dinner or something!
Ok so I he’s a super nice guy and I’ve known him since I was like 9 but I really haven’t had more than like a 20 min conversation at a time with him since I was like 9… how am I going to fill up that much time with conversation so it doesn’t get all odd and silent! Whatever… even if it doesn’t get all quiet and I have nothing to say it will still be super cool to go to dinner with him! I wish his wife still lived in LA though because I haven’t seen her in years and it would be great to see her again! It’s ok I guess I will just see her when I go to Calgary later on this year!!!! Hopefully Shean will have new pictures of his boys by then so I can see them!
Okay enough of this so I was looking around and pictures and I came across these really old ones from 97 training camp! The players look like babies…. So I had to share!
