Been an eventful last few days, sort of

On Wednesday my previously online-only friend Derick moved to Denver and the next day we got together for a short while and had dinner. It was good finally meeting someone in person that I had talked to so much online and we got along well in person. I guess Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weren't all that eventful overall. Monday I went to A Taste of Colorado, a local festival with lots of food, with my boyfriend and we spent about 6 hours or so together and I enjoyed spending time with him. I tried a couple wines there while I was at it and the first one, Wild One Red, was not up my alley at all. Too strong and not really a whole lot of flavour. On my boyfriend's recommendation I tried Sutter Home White Zinfandel and it was pretty good. Wine and margaritas are the only alcoholic beverages I have had so far, and it's not like I drink all that often anyway. Being around all those people sure made me want to drink more, though :-P

And last night while tacking up some curtains in my room I managed to dislocate my shoulder. It popped right back into place but it still hurt like hell and this morning it is still sore and I know it is prone to being dislocated again so I have to be careful how I move it. I dislocated it 3 times in a week about 4 months ago and I still can't figure out how it first happened. It might be a good idea for me to take advantage of the expensive insurance I have through my college (they required it, the bastards) and get this looked at.
