[Nightmares.
He's been cooped inside for a while- maybe it's because of the fact this 'dark hour' and 'Fall' business has been bothering him or it's that because of those things, his nightmares have become more frequent. He doesn't even have to fall asleep for it to happen anymore either; his eyes close and the images become vivid across the back of his eyelids, they have their own soundtrack and they bring their own crimson. By the time he realizes it and forces himself awake, exhaustion catches up and pulls him back down. Once he suffers through it, he rises in a cold sweat and his body doesn't stop shaking.
He is pale, he is tired, he is the result of sleepless nights and fear, the manifestation of emotion gone out of control, memories that refuse to be shut down, refuse to live and let live. Colme is the child of Justin and Hayden Ichikawa, the adopted son of Makoto Higuchi. He is a friend, a follower, a Demon Buster. The fighter can be an idiot, slow, stupid, but also brave and selfless, thoughtful and just sometimes.
That means nothing to the nightmares, the images of corpses piling up and disfigured shapes coming close only to whisper filth into his ears. His heart racing reminds him of important things, that even if it is not real, even if it is supposed to be nothing, he can feel it. A reminder of his mortality.
He is only human.
A scream breaks out through the dorms- his frame collapses as soon as it stands and he drops to his knees, eyes wide and frightened out of his mind. Nervous fingers grab his sword and he's crouched down, forcing the sudden lumps in his throat.
At no one there and his demon still by the bed, Ichikawa drops the weapon, feeling defeated almost. He makes for the kitchen, feet dragging across the carpet.
He is a train wreck burning slowly.]
