a few notes:
• I got a raise. A small one, but a raise none the less. My review went horribly wrong, and somehow as a result she's giving me more money. I'm hoping that means she/they like me. Especially since the store really can't afford it (with labor being what it is).
• I *may* have a physics lab job. I met with Prof. Mark Saffman today. I've heard him guest lecture twice, and he proved to be a surprisingly friendly and understanding. We discussed my interest in physics, my background, and my aspirations for a bit in his office, and then he brought me downstairs to his two labs. He introduced me to the grad students, and gave me a very thorough tour of the current experiments. Afterwards, he said he might offer me a small (5-10hr/week) job building electronic devices. He'll think about it over the weekend. *crosses fingers*
• The search is still on for summer sublets.

The townhouse where I was born. Beautiful neighborhood.
The small house we rented on Kirkshire off Manchester for a number of years in St. Louis.
The elementary school I walked 8 blocks to and from each day. I've some great memories of this place. Moved out when I was in 3rd Grade, though.
Venue where I grew up seeing folk legends with my parents.
My home in La Crosse, in the winter.
My grandfather's house in Webster Groves, also a nice neighborhood.
