another saturday
Here it is another Saturday with nothing on the agenda. I didn't go to sleep till 3:00 this morning, and my lovely adorable rotten son woke me up around 7:00 or so. Thanks for that, Chan-man! He's gonna be going to my in laws' house again tonight to spend the night. Ahhh, a break!
I might head over to the huge Salvation Army thrift store in Virgina Beach either today or tomorrow. I keep hearing about great deals on brand new/like new things that people snag from thrift stores, and I wanna check it out for myself. Everyone loves a great bargain!
Chandler's got the big 12" G.I. Joes, and he's been playing with them more lately. Thursday night he was going ape shit because he wanted to play with some of my old Barbies so G.I. Joe and his friends could go on a date. For starters, all of my old Barbies are in the attic. I'm not about to dig thru boxes to find them. So I told him that Thursday night is a work night, and Friday night is "date night" so it would give me some time to figure something out, lol. We ended up getting 2 Barbie knock offs from the Dollar Tree last night. He kept saying, "Mom, don't tell anyone that these are for me! Say they're for you." Like anyone was going to question why I was buying generic Barbies from the dollar store. So he was happy, and so were two lucky G.I. Joes. They went on a double date to the Cinema Cafe. Oh, and they met on an airplane. I love kids' imaginations!
Well, that's about all I have to say for now. Paul needs to use the computer, and Chandler is dying from starvation, so I'll see y'all later.
P.S. It's hot as a motherfucker in this house!
