Car Plunges Into Elizabeth River

Norfolk dive teams are on the way to the scene of a car that plunged into the Elizabeth River.
Around 6:30 Thursday morning, police got a call that a car ran off the pier in the 300 block of Brooke Avenue in downtown Norfolk.
Police say there may be a person inside the car. Dive teams are on the way to investigate. No body has been recovered.
