(no subject)
Still waiting for my new costume for work.
I worked so much this weekend, I got sick. Unfortunately, I got sick after I was done working. Great.
I bought a TV at Goodwill on Thursday (alà TBoM's TV up at the cabin for Halo) so we can play some games during work breaks. Matt was talking junk about Halo and Smash Bros. Melee and he thought he was the be-all-and-end-all of those two games. The first time I jumped in on a Halo 2 match, the score was:
Me: 25
Matt: 4
Erik: 0
Gabi: -1
Yeah. I gave a new meaning to the phrase, "This Game Is Over." Nobody's catching onto it at work, though, darn it. (Inside The Numbers: I died twice over the course of three games. I didn't die once in the first game.)
Also, I've been asked out on a date by a coworker. I'm not too excited, but I just hope it goes alright.
My coworkers are crazy. Not the good crazy. Like the "I need attention!" crazy. It's not fun. I just ignore them and they eventually cut it out.
I enjoy double standards at work. Mrs. Sanders tells me to leave the pizza in the cooker for a couple more minutes, then comes back and tells me that the pizza looks fine. As I'm giving it to a waitress, Mr. Sanders walks by and freaks out with, "You're selling that? I don't think so!" Nice. That was the last pizza we had, too. Awesome.
I burned a copy of Disney's Into The Woods for the Theatre, and everyone was enjoying it...until Mrs. Sanders was like, "What is this?" Well, um...it's Disney music? And not the same 12 songs that we hear over and over each day? Y'know...just a change of scenery? Go figure. I have good taste in music, but nobody else likes it. It's Yearbook all over again.
I just want to finish Kingdom Hearts. Sephiroth is not letting that happen. Forget that kid.
