Mamma Mia...
Oh my word - I haven't posted for 4 days...that has to be some kind of record!
Went to see Mamma Mia last night (under duress you must understand). My word, the LULZ. Pierce Brosan is pure comedy gold when he sings. I may have died laughing, coming back to life only to laugh MOAR. The film was a bit shit, to be fair. All the acting seemed a bit... theatre... although I guess that's what they were going for. But yeah, the songs were good. Being dragged to watch Dark Knight tonight with Matthewman...not a happy chappy...counting The Simpsons Movie we watched Mon night, that will be 3 films in a row. Not impressed. Fanny Onions stayed over Monday night, watched a wee bit of telly. Did anyone see Top Gear on Sunday? When that man's arm came off and was stuck to the steering wheel I was on the floor laughing. I'm gonna miss Top Gear. Come back soon!
Went shopping with Laurawife Saturday after haircut, got a red dress affair from River Island for ten pounds (ten pounds, river island - same sentence?!?), got a lush checked top from Dorothy Perkins (I am really feeling the check stuff at the minute - and I almost bought a tartan top from Primark...), happy times abound. Cath came round in the evening which was really nice, watched comedy together. Lent her my Darkplace DVD, doing my bit to spread the word. She was telling me about Bad Film Club down at Chapter, which is basically two stand up comidiens (sp?) ripping the piss into a really bad film while you watch it. Sounds genius. The next one is September so gonna go with her. Sunday me and Matthewman went to Rest Bay for a walk along the cliffs into Porthcawl propper, had a quick wander around the fair. It was unbelievably hot, and I only own jeans. I have no shorts, light trousers or anything. I should really rectify this.
Laurawife's burlesque party this weekend. My costume is less "proper" burlesque (I wouldn't subject the people of Cardiff to that...it's more 'daytime' burlesque) I wanted a polka dot wiggle dress or something similar, but due to limited funds I had to make do with aforementioned red dress. Black tights and some heels and away we go. Should be funtimes...
