The Fourth Line are Penetrating...
Hockey commentary is amusing if you have the sense of humour of a young boy. Not only are the 4th line "penetrating" but one of the skaters was "flying down the wang". Tee hee hee.
Erm, things have happened. Was at The Horrors Sunday night at the Forum with Grace - the band were amazing and I especially liked the support Lung, Rotter and Seven. I'd almost forgotten how hot Rhys was, but he was wearing this tartan/plaid blaser and was looking WELL FINE. Crowd were twats mind. One child and his girlfriend spent a good 10 minutes necking right in front of me, then he started fingering her right in the middle of the crowd. Now, I remember being a teen and getting what you could where you could, but seriously, it's a bit crowded and I don't want your vagina on my clothes so go away now pls kthxbai. But they played a song in the encore which I think was called Ghostrider and it was amazing. Kentish Town forum is a lush venue though, and I would well recommend.
Work is being busy, loads of people are off over Christmas and I found out yesterday that not only am I doing all the flagging while Nigel and Alya are on holiday, but I'm also entering all the results for ALL the tests that are happening during that time. In addition to doing my regular tests and stuff. But there is a senior post coming up in the new year and it's cracking experience. I just wish they'd realised a bit before yesterday that as of Thursday we have no senior staff in the lab so I had more than 2 days to learn it all. But what can you do? Head down and get on with it.
I also gave blood today - they made me drink a pint of water before I did and I was already pretty needing a wee, so by the end I was almost exploding! I felt a bit giddy afterwards which was a bit strange, I've never had that before when I've given, but it was like being very lightly tipsy. Bizarre.
