asking for some advice ...

in my english comp class i'm thinking of having my final paper's thesis statement be "video games are do not hinder a student's educational development (or something like it)." i don't think that there are too many stats out on the video games and educational development/learning ability. i didn't know if anyone had any suggestions, tips, or comments. the major thing is that this paper is roughly about 40% of my final grade. sooooo, with that said, i would like all the input i can get. thank you for any help or input.
